Any quick tips on video settings to help with gameplay speed What can I turn off or on to help
For instance COM_maxfps 250 as seen on other posts and maybe resolution settings need help to try and keep up until I upgrade my system.
PS I got a new helmet so bring on Cold Beer!!

Simple...

The higher your detail settings, the slower the game will run. The maxfps will override the game default settings but only to a point. If your detail settings are high it will also bring your fps down.

I run at 800 X 600 medium detail and don't feel a hiccup at all. (Geforce 4 Ti 4200 128)

I run 1280x1024 with every thing maxed and I never go below 40fps on a GF 4 TI 4400

Yep..the more eye candy the lower your FPS. If you have newer computer I dont think it makes a difference. But if u have an older one it makes a noticeable difference.

usually run at 1600*1200 max everything

HEY 24Fast i don't think a new helmet will help ya ....unless it covers your eyes so you don't see it comeing LOL .....you better get new puter soon boys will be back in school soon ....get Bill G to help ya set it up LOL see ya at work
