While playing on Cassino under the name "Belly Achin" I was once again accused of cheating by a regular player the the server "Private Jagov".

Ahh the Mag7 cannot play without being harassed saga continues.

MOB does not appreciate players smurfing on their servers. It creates a hassel. As you said, once they knew it was you it wasn't a problem. Because apparently they trust you. Personally, if I had been on the server, you would have been kicked for smurfing. I don't need the hassel of thinking somebody is hacking and having to go into spec to check them. I'd have to make a demo to be sure of it. This takes time and effort. To find out you are a reg that I trust would have seriously pissed me off.
Don't come in here talking crap about our guys whlile you were smurfing. They are just trying to run a clean server. If you are a clean player than play under your regular name. It's shady to smurf a regular server.

I'm not going to defend Private Jagov, as we take people throwing out false accusations about cheating very seriously. With that said, as Bargod already pointed out smurfing has & always will create it's own problems on the server. I don't consider it as big of a deal on a PB server as I do on a server without PB.
For the proof of this, you don't have to look any furthur than your own post.
Once he knew who you were, it pretty much ended the problem there.

Personally I wouldn't even consider this up to the level of requiring action.
There is small but important difference between someone occasionally venting their frustration with a lame cheat accusation and the level where it's constant & abusive.

I also don't understand why you said he continued to be an ass after you told him who you were.
His only remarks after that was

Your obviously a good player, I've no doubt you run into this problem fairly often.
My question would be, do you honestly think it was up to the level of permanately banning a player who playes here as much as Private Jagov?
If the answer is yes, than your long time goal would be to play on a dead server as 25% of the players have probably done much the same thing at one point or another.

mag7 dude, i'm sorry you get through this hassle. but just take it as a compliment now. i like jagov, he and i go back pretty far on cassino. i'm sorry he did that. but keep in mind, i have been accused of cheating a fair amount of times, and i know people like DDz Nothing did too. and everyone knows we don't...



you know, and us MOB know you don't cheat. if someone else is noob enough to think you cheat they obviously haven't played that server enough, or haven't played with you as much. i know you're pretty much the best person to play that server (the 2nd best i've ever seen....next to Tragedy).

I can only assume by that silly response you didn't actually spend the time the think before fingers hit the keys.

While we can argue all day about exactly what constitutes "smurfing" it is usually considered to be done when a player gets online on a server for the specific purpose of causing trouble. Check the logs and you will find that I did not at any time initiate(unless you count playing better than him) an argument with Jagov.

In fact if you check the logs within the first few minutes of the round he made a comment about how tough I was to kill(which I suppose was setting the ground for what was coming). No one asked him to spectate me he did that on his own. So if your silly enough to demo anyone who gets accused of cheating that seems to be your own problem.

If your so inclined you can check to see the last time Mag7 logged into the server. It has probably been a little while since I decided that it was impossible to play on that server under that name without getting a bunch of crap, but since I enjoy the server when not being harassed I decided the easiest thing to do would be just change the name.

Also its worth pointing out that so called "smurfing" had absolutely nothing to do with the situation at all. Jagov said it and that has nothing to do with a players name. I only brought it up on the forum because I have seen him being warned on several occasions by admins it seems to me that repeat offenders should be punished.

Aside from that what guys am I talking crap about? Because I don't think that I have ever said anything anti {MOB} on this forum or anywhere else. The facts are right in front of you its a pretty cut and dried situation.

Sorry about the image sizes its been fixed. Above you can read my response to the smurfing charge. It really holds no water in this case seeing as how I did absolutely nothing to provoke the accusation(plus its not actually smurfing if you actively changing your name on a server).

Also as I said up top the only reason it was reported is because he has done this on multiple occasions. To answer your question absolutely. He has been warned before he is persisting that means its time to go.

Mag, why the melodrama? I thought we were allowed to talk smack. Naturally if someone pops on the server that I have never seen before and cleans house, I am going to talk smack. I never say anything to anyone on there who routinely kicks my butt. Not even DDZNothing, and I HATE when he kills me from across town over, and over, and over, and over...heh.

I play here a lot, as you all know, so if the MOB fellows want me to just shut up and not smack talk that's cool with me.

That happens to me sometimes when I play in other servers also. When ever someone plays better then they are used to or can do themself, its easy to accuse one of cheating. I usually dont pay much attention to it. Ill say no I dont cheat and if they keep it up I usually say thanks for the compliment.

Jagov, I love when you catch my rounds with your teeth, its a beautiful thing.

Damn you Nothing! The only good thing is that I know a couple of your spots, so when you kill me 10 times, I can usually get you once. Oh, the pleasure that brings!

Honestly, if I thought someone was cheating, I wouldn't care. I don't get that overexcited at a computer game. I surely wouldn't "report" them (I wouldn't even know how to go about it...). It's just smack talk, plain and simple.

As I said, if MoB wants me to shut up, I will do so happily.

Jagov thats a pretty poor excuse for poor behavior. Trying to play off your stupid accusations as standard issue is even worse than the occasional stupid comment. Your admitting that you have the intention to blame everyone who plays on the server and does well. Does that seriously make sense to you?

and if i played cassino as much as my old days.....i'd totally lead you all . i'm just playing...i think i've somewhat lost my cassino touch as of late i'm going through what i like to call the "choth" syndrome.

The nades and satchels got annoying, but i tolerated them. The sad thing is that right and i mean literally right after you left, like 4 people came on, we decided to end the pistol battle =/.
