Sadly,the first person to turn me on to the news that joining the army in the UK screwed you was Dean (Cross of Iron). I remember the day he told me that he got refused jobs because he listed his army career on his resume. The way he related it (I'm sorry if I remember this wrong Deano, but my memory is poor do to the Irish disease) is that basically the British look at soldiers as having one skill, being killers. Nobody wants to hire anyone with that skill.

Jeez, it puts your resume at the top of the pile everywhere else.
