Hey Druid, i was just wondering if The Crossroads is going to be a permanent addition to the line-up on goodfellas.
Personally, i really dislike the map and i hope it doesnt stay.

Instead of Crossroads, could you substitute another map, such as one that Kirby suggested in another thread (Verlassene or The Falls) ?
I would love to see snowy in the rotation.
I think the only reason they have or had Crossroads in the rotation is because {MOB} had a ladder match against us on OGL......Personally,I think they should pop Snowy Park in, right Cobra....... 
On the other hand Goodfellas is always a packed server so thats not the greatest of maps to play when the server is packed....

Hi Wassy, everyone would have to have the same PK file installed to make that work, which is impossible. Last summer, a list of alternative maps were put together on MOB's second server which did work. Maybe if enough are interested they will give it a go again once in awhile. Downside is all would have to have the PK map file inside there main folder to load each map or you would just loose your connection once the map changed (if the PK file was not loaded). Maybe if enough interest is generated, consideration may be made to set up a line of different maps once in awhile. That would require 15-20 regulars estimated, and maybe the maps could just run a certain day to keep the interest going. Just a thought...

Kirby, one of the cool things about missionary is that if a server runs a special map Missionary automatically has people who connect to that server download the necessary pk3 files to play.

Saints every-time you want to have a new map and or mod "blood-sound-skin" put on a missionary server you have to have Black Bart up grade the server.Since he chargers a fee for this he can cost.So you don't want to experiment in missionary on want you might want. I have spoke with kirby on maybe running a small server from my home with the maps he suggested.It could be used for maybe 4 to 6 guys to try the maps and others we could by word of mouth have those few download the maps.Then when enough of us are on Ventrillo we can try it .Remember this you are on the West coast so don't think you are going to have a low ping.Mob servers are in Texas.At least we can see how the map plays and then ask about having a new map server on mob

but yeah, im definitely down with downloading pk3s and testing out maps with you guys.
