Jak, I'm having a hard time understanding what you are saying. This man with this website needs to be dealt with, not the people that don't support the platform. This man has gone way over than just nonsupport.
You're confused, as I was referring to the "lot of people" terminology used in your first post. That there is, as I put it, "a large percentage of the population," or, in other words, a substantial amount of citizens, that support the foolish and ignorant ideas posted on that website is just not true. Silver I do know Too Exclusive, at the time I just couldn't figure out what you meant.
And to TheGhost, you certainly had some interesting thoughts, most alarming of which was this line:
I say we do what we did in WWII, round up all the fuckin towel heads, and stick them in freakin detention camps. better yet why dont we just deport them mofos?.
Well, first of all, during World War II, we were not at war with, as you say, any "towel heads." By towel heads I'll assume you mean Arab Muslims, but you could also be referring to Indians, Pakistanis, Bangladeshis, Afghanis, or any other number of Asian ethnicities. Those interned were Japanese and German citizens, mainly Japanese in the West. Secondly, although the use of detention camps was upheld in Korematsu vs. U.S. (1944), it is simply unconstutional and UNAMERICAN because the vast majority of those interned were merely of Japanese descent and had committed no crime.
Furthermore, we cannot simply deport someone because they look different. If you want to live in another century, build a time machine. Otherwise, give those of different ethnicities and religions the respect they deserve.
Moving on, your comments on the war were certainly interesting. If our armed forces acted in a manner in which you wish they would, how much respect do you think they, or the country in general, would garner? The Geneva Convention Standards are in place for a reason. And, unfortunately for your proposition, the United States cannot live in a bubble. For one, we are WAY too dependent on foreign oil for that.
I'm also not sure as to why you stated all "dems," presumably Democrats, but I think you intended liberals who don't support the war, should go live in Iraq and then have the President save them. Why should people who don't think we should be there in the first place go to Iraq. This is the current administration's doing, not any raging liberals, and as such, the President should be responsible.
It's also nice to know that you would kill anyone who did not support the troops. Well goddamn, slap my ass and call me billy! What the fuck does "Support the Troops" mean exactly anyways. I'd be interested to know what you or anyone else on this forum has done to support the troops. Putting a bumper sticker on your SUV alonside your American flag and W2004 sticker doesn't seem to cut it to me. Do you even know anyone serving in Iraq? I do.
