on stock maps tonight guy using the old faithful cheat handle of "unknown soldier" running team mates over with jeep for couple rounds...feel like a 12 yr old tattling on people but i gotta say i had to quit before i broke my mouse...lol
10:27pm now and i bet he's still on.
added ss of menu with name showing he was only unknown soldier on
plz ban the name unknown soldier so we can get there real names to report if possible!
anyway im gonna shut her down and clean some of the jeep rubber off my back

i think after he did that he changed his name because someone tried to jeep tk me later on-pvt paula or something but cleaner came on when i was bitchen and i think he left.the map after ward though was plenty !i got jeeped twice and then i got it with a tank too! no names though! getting old!

It's possible to block anyone from joining with the name "unknown soldier" but I hate to go that route.
Even as old as COD:UO is, there are still plenty of new people joining the servers for the 1st time.
I'll look and see if there is a small mod to auto change "unknown soldier" to something else.
I know there are several full admin mods, they just seem to be a waste if I'm only using one function out of the 100 they come with.
In the mean time...
You can always drop your console and type
\pb_plist
This will bring up a list of players on the server including the last 8 characters of their GUID
With this information it would be easy to track down the player regardless of their name.
In fact, this would be the preferred method of reporting anyone because even with a name, the 1st thing I have to do is search for their name in the PB log for their GUID.
Searching by just name, tends to be problematic because I always have to double check to make sure someone else wasn't smurfing the name in an attempt to get another player in trouble.

Besides who is to say that he was doing it on purpose....i mean i get of my comp sometimes and my lil bro starts meleein ppl like a freak if not that u dont want to know what he does.....Either way i say ask him what he is doin next time maybe hell stop and such drastic measures wont need to be taken.....

I don't know what it is about BAS Stock late at night, but it seems to be a magnet for TKers. After you left Canuck we had two on at the same time. Everyone got frustrated and quit. These two idiots single-handedly managed to shut down the server. One was Dr. Doom on the Brit side, I didn't catch the other in the act.

it was defenitly intentional!!!
Actually, any mod to auto change the name wouldn't have worked in this case as the player spaced it differently than when the game sets it.
nice pickup, I didn't even notice that.
The nice thing is, now I'll be able to go back through the log and ban him.
