I used to do it all the time, even though sittin' on it for any amount of time you are vulnerable to snipers.
Well, I just consider it "cheap" kills. You learn to point at a branch on a tree and hold a button...and you can kill 10, 20, 30 kill streaks if your team can keep you protected, which usually happens only by chance, not by brilliant strategy. Start tracking the stat, and everyone will want to pad their stats with it.
Also, although Slyk might not be making anymore edits, perhaps someone else can. For BA, removing the 45 that can be used to spawn rape Germans at their own base would be an idea. Captain Canuck might be really good (trust me, I know), but he isn't 37 kills straight good, except for the fact the Germans apperently like to put guns in positions whose only purpose is for the opposition to use against them!
Those are just just my opinions of course, but I think many are expressing the fact that Smolensk, despite being a way cool map, has some play issues on BA. The other key to fixing it might be to redo the respawn positions closer to bases so people can get back after a death. Games end too quick because defence is so hard to do. Even if you have people dedicated to it, if they die the base falls because they rarely have enough time to get back. In Barbarbossa, if a base starts to get planted about the time you respawn, you can literally run to every base in time to cut except for maybe the German 1. In Smolensk, forget about it if there isn't a jeep available. Only two bases are within run distance I think.
On conquest, even though I only played a bit, I think the balance seems good.
