I have to say one of the most exciting playoff series was with the cubs and marlins.my freind is a ticket broker (thief) and he gives me tickets all the time -we went to the games here in florida and i couldnt believe how exciting it was! i went with a friend who grew up in chicago and when they lost i felt bad because he cried! but i was happy because i had tickets to both world series games (game 5 being one of them) and was on the very first row at first base (free) .i have always felt bad about the cubbies losing though.glad to se yanks lose !

Feezy, dont get me started man. The Cubs have a crappy ballpark that is constantly full because of the bars that surround the park. They are making money hand over fist and as long as i have been here in Chicago (30years) they never go after any good free agents. They act as if they dont need to because the fans keep coming in anyways. Look at the White Sox, they have always kept making moves over the years. Some bad, but some good as well. The Sox have been the outcast here in Chicago for years because of the park's location. I dont need all the bars around my baseball team. Inside the park of the Sox, it is a million times better than the Cubs park. How can you say the Cubs Rule? As long as I have known, they have been called the Lovable Losers!!! You say Shitty Sox, why?

long story... Has alot to do with the distain for philly fans, but who knows about the nats... they might be playing in virginia soon. I follow them more than the whorioles (my new word, feel free to steal it)

i think thats a factor in baseball-the orioles for instance had a monopoly on the area (dc,virginia,n.c) until the nationals came. i find it funny that since the nationals started now the orioles are making moves.attendance was down by %40 this year so fans are sick of seeing a losing team!

chi sox won the sreies so maybe the cubs will do something? i still would like to see the cubs break the curse.maybe a chi world series?

Im a big baseball fan. My dad and I worship baseball. Im a Cardinal fan and he is a Dodger fan. I cant wait for the World Baseball Classic (WBC) USA will get stomped and Cuba and the Dominican Rep. will own everyone.

Thats really great spectre. Only if the games mattered and the USA had all the best players there then it would actually mean something.

They dont care about our country. They came from another and are very proud to be from where they came from. They dont realize how they are effecting the country that their children and grandchildren are now from. I doubt thier kids and grandkids will be holding those flags when they are their age.

Well most people in the Majors are from other countries. Korea had a big upset on Japan. Dominican Rep beat Venezuela 11-5. I think the USA well do good this round. Next round seems tough. USA will take it serious l8r. The other countries are playing as hard as they can to prove they are the best. Check out how their fans react to plays. If you want to see the games you can watch them on you computer for a small fee instead of waiting for the re runs on espn at 2-5 in the mornin.

Even tho I live in Kc now.....I am a huge Cardinal fan as I am from St. Louis originally. I am also a Blues "hockey" fan. Funny thing tho.....I am a Denver football fan. Back to baseball. Can you believe the idiot of a pitcher that went home to florida because he "lost his pitch". I am speaking of the young kid the the Royals signed. What a waste..he will be black balled from baseball now and he gave up millions on principle. I guess the coaches ruined it all for him"as he says".

You know if you think about it....all the really good dominant players are from other countries !! I think if you want to leave your country to come play in the US then you need to represent who your playin for...not who you left !! Thats kinda sayin...hey america thanks for lettin me come here to play baseball but im gonna go represent my old counrty that i left behind !!
