Thanks for the props Flatliner. MC was THE man. It was a shame he lost his well-earned respect over the years. The good news is that he is climbing back. He has a new single coming out soon. I wish him only the best.
This discussion of stats is a good example of "hacks." Often, something that we think is fishy turns out to be perfectly legit. Often it is simply our own ignorance that masks the truth. Both Cross and I were ignorant to the actual points awarded for the various skills, and thus, we jumped to the conclusion that someone couldn't possibly obtain the score this player received in Foy. We now know better.
I don't like it when people complain in-game of hacks. In the gajillion of rounds that I've played since COD first came out, I've only seen hacks on servers that don't have PB running. I've seen suspicious stuff on MOB servers, but going into spec mode often reveals that the most egregious activity has come from someone who exploits a map to get outside the boundaries and snipes from below the map. It is easy to find these cheats and even easier to make sure they don't come back again - screenshot, post in forum. Problem solved.
Cross and I have worked together in the practice server to learn how someone can possibly avoid death in a bunker if a satchel is dropped down the chimney. Neither of us has ever survived this satchel drop if we remain in the bunker, yet it appears we have players who have a "hack" that prevents them from taking a lethal amount of damage. Just the other day I was battling in Ponyri and the Germans had the Ruskie 3 surrounded with armor. Several Germans dismounted, tossed a satchel down the chimney, backed up, waited for the bang and then rushed headlong down the stairs. Those of us on top would hear the ensuing gunfire and then the eerie silence that followed the realization that our teammate was dead. This was repeated enough times that we now had the Ruskie 3 surrounded by a handfull of empty tanks and I was the only tanker left. A number of dead players were screaming "HACK!"
The only conclusion one could make was it was either Superman down there, or it was someone who had a hack running. I rolled my tank up so I could see down the stairs, dismounted, tossed a satchel and then jumped back in the tank. "Superman" was merely one of the talented regulars on the server who knew enough to run half-way up the stairs to avoid the blast. He managed to dart back down the stairs before I could hit him with a tank round. He was both smart and fast!
I too, have managed to avoid a satchel death by running into the stairs. But, that is one satchel. I've never managed to do that twice. It must have been a hack, you say!
Correction, Grasshopper.
Remember how any number of Germans had run into the base thinking they'd killed the enemy with their satchel? Their subsequent easy kills provided Superman with enough med packs to survive subsequent satchel explosions.
Bottom line here is that a lot can happen outside of your purview, stuff that makes it seem as if someone is running a hack, when in reality they've just figured out something for which you haven't developed a proper counter measure. Tossing a few grenades into the stairs as you drop a satchel might help, or running to the stairs yourself to kill the guy as he climbs the stairs would be even better.
I can give you another example. Cross and I were in a base setting a bomb. A skilled American raced in with his Tommie blazing and before either of us could raise our weapons, he had dropped both of us with headshots and defused the bomb. We both felt this was evidence of a hack. We spec'd him, but couldn't find anything out of the ordinary. We have subsequently heard some people marvel at how he, at times, runs at a phenomenal rate of speed. So, perhaps he has figured out some speed hack he only employs at certain moments. I don't have the answer to that, but I do have my own subsequent experience as a guide.
Playing American a day or so later, I too raced into a base and ran directly at two Germans planting a bomb. They both died with what seemed like magic bullets to me. I had never killed so easily with that weapon. If I stand still and fire that thing, I seem to hit with a very low ratio. Something odd happens when you run directly at a stationary target with the Thompson. It kills with the greatest of ease!
I'm sure there are hundreds of exploits in this game and many of them appear to be hacks. Our challenge is to figure them out, and more importantly, to figure out a proper counter measure!

You can see the same thing in your stats, this is off the weekly
http://8.9.4.75/Base_Stock_7day_stats/play...}hammatime.html12 rounds but you attacked 246 bases.
I think your confusing breached with attacked.
Everytime you attack a base you get points, doesn't mean you breaced the base
Thanks, Druid and Scrap for sharing that actual data. Cross and I had stumbled upon the same info ourselves and had discussed it directly, but failed to post a follow-up. My bad.
