First, I want to say that MOB #2 is the best spearhead server out there and thanks to FK for all the work he puts in, the maps and the weapons mod and now sv_pure. Your hard work is not going unappreciated, this is the only server I play on and I try to get all my friends to become regulars, too.
That being said, I was going to ask about grenade throwing distance. Russian grenades are apparently as heavy as a shotput, while axis grenades go about a mile. I was just asking because I like the russian skins, but it sucks having the limitation on your grenade range. Can it be evened for all the different factions?
Either way, I will still be a MOB #2 regular, I just thought I'd ask.
Many thanks, FK.

I wish the grenades in SH were the same as AA...that "cooking" crap sucks

I personally like the cooking thing.
Allows for some pinpoint tossing rather than have it bounce through the room.
And you can get some really effective airbursts!
Of course, you get about 10 to the 2nd kills more than me, so I must bow to your wisdom.

I was not aware tof the differences in the grenades and truethfully I have never looked at that part of the code. I will check it out and see if I can make them all the same.

Cool, I just thought I'd bring it up. Thanks for all your hard work, FK. See you on the server soon, I hope. I like it when the MOBers are on. Great to play with/against you guys.
To Nixon: I like 'cooking' grenades, because it allows you to get grenades to go off in places that you couldn't in MOHAA. The choice of either a huge throw or an underhanded drop doesn't give you much flexibility with placement of grenades for intermediate throws. The only thing i think is a little weird is that the fuse seems to be shorter when you throw them underhanded.
Anyway, see you guys on the server.
Later.
