so my mother finally is bogging down on me and how much i've played call of duty lately ( i keep telling her....it was spring break.....of course i'll play more ) but with my much needed attention to school, and upcoming papers to write i will be forced to take at least a week of all playing. sort of like hellfighter restraining himself so hopefully i'll see you all in a week !

Emo or any music genre isn't about how you look or dress. That's the whole issue I have with stores like Hot Topic... hate that shit. I grew up on punk music and had friends that dressed the whole staple "punk" look. They'd get down on people that were the norm and chastise them for trying to fit in so much. Meanwhile, they were the ones that were also trying to be accepted in their own group of people with leather jackets and spiked hair. Hot Topic just makes it worse now... it's all mass produced. I had one friend that wore sweatpants all the time with a college t-shirt who was probably "intelectually" the most punk person I ever met.

Basically what I'm saying is... a rapper can't be accepted into the rap music scene unless he or she dresses like all the other rappers? Personally, I don't even reckognize Emo. I think it's gay attempt to further an exsisting music genre. People are tossing anything from The Cure to Fugazi to Pearl Jam into the Emo area... it's utter BS.

Youth groups are a total bad influence. I've was in and out of them for a lot of my childhood. Why is it that the freakiest, easiest girls are part of church youth groups? Then they act all "campy" most of the time. I mean, I never minded it, but still, it's unsettling.

Dude, join a Venture Crew, I think it's part of boy scouts, but whatever it is, it's bad ass. Explorer posts work hand in hand with Venture crews. I was in one my junior and senior year, and we went spelunking, backpacking, shooting, skiing, and so forth. It kept me off bad things for a while, your mother would appreciate that.

Fuck the Boy Scouts. Anyone that watches Bullshit! knows what I'm talking about. They Mormon church has turned the scouts into a Nazi propaganda machine that spews out their own philisophical beliefs.

pez, i'm not talking about the boyscouts bro. These explorer/venture posts are mad fun, and they have no real agenda except having fun and helping the community. Don't be quick to your judgements.

I've done several activites with youth groups. They go and do outdoor stuff too, and church lock-ins and what would seem like campy stuff. Now please, don't take this as anti-religion, but from my experience, the guys there are evil and the girls are sluts. It's wierd.
