As popular as Bob map is and the server is alway full!! How about rotating the barb server to run Tuchola and Barb?? Just an idead

Yeah I second that notion. It would make the map more widely available for other players.

Barb has taken a big hit due to the release of Tuchola. Whether that is a long-term hit or just a short-term bump remains to be seen. It was definitely a better population this week then last week (looking at the monthly graph). I suspect it will be back to normal populations in another week once folks finish exploring Tuchola.

Not sure what it would do to the Barbarossa population if we rotated with Tuchola / Broadsword / Barbarossa.

Never played Broadsword, but i wouldn't mind a rotaion on a server other than Stocks. One map gets kinda repetive, usually still fun, but after a while, it gets stale.

Let Barbarossa stay as it is!

Barbarossa is one of the best COD maps i ever have playd. Don't mess with it. Tuchola is a good map, but y can include it on stock server if y want more of it.

Bob I love your map but you loved playing playing barb! don't be a traitor now!

After thinking some......switching between Bob's map and Barb mite not be too bad of an idea..... Barb has been okay i think but.... I could definately see a lot of benefits changing it.... I think there is only a few members that still play barb. The server does has some traffic.... but i think this will help regulate the traffic more. I think it will be good to see more MOB members on different servers seeing as a lot of us have been on Bob's map...... His map has been overloaded most of time waiting for people to hop on.And i think The MOST important issue at hand is that on Barb I can do more damage with you guys on my team....wOOt! LOL! And a lot of the regulars from Barb have been on Bob's map and seem to like to play both sets of maps.....And there i think is some more i thought about just can't remember what they were.....No broadsword though because thats switching between to many maps and Barb does still have its traffic....and there obviously still some of that love barb and no offense i can't wait 3 hours to hop on and play a game...

I think it's premature to talk of changing Barb just because of recent server patterns. We're in a transition period now, as more people discover Tuchola and explore it. I suspect that given a month or so for the novelty to wear off, things will settle down and both servers will be routinely full.
I've always said that Barb is the only map I never seem to get tired of. Early results are in, and it appears Tuchola has been added to this category. The more I play, the more I enjoy and appreciate Bobs masterpiece.
Barb is far from empty, and still has a loyal following. Lets wait a bit before messing with it.

Now Casino... don't know how people can continue to play that old chesnet time after time...;-)

Something to keep in mind.
Surprisingly we've had great success running single map servers, much more than I ever would of guessed.
Running a rotation on the barb server could create drops, as many people might only like one map or the other.
Right now the majority of people stay to play multiple rounds.
With a rotation there is a chance you would get lots of people leave at the end of each round because they don't like the next map. It could be more of a problem with barb since it runs 2 rounds.

Which is why we don't have the custom maps server anymore

Stickman has a good point. It is to early to talk about messing with the Barb server now.
In 3 weeks time, we will know much more on this issue.

Just a thought but i see a lot of the regulars that are or were on bob's map that play(ed) barb. i know some don't like both but i think people would hop on that one that like both maps.... i am could see like Goosedown hoping on that one....

And really barb has taking a hit from MOB and regulars on there since COD2 has come out.....so I dont think it is to early to talk about rotating it....

Honestly, I like Barb better than Tuchola. I dont like when the maps are too large. Takes allot longer to get from point A to point B and so on. I like more killing at a quicker pace. Barb is just the right size for my taste. Im sure there are many that think differently. But the biggest thing is that Tuchola is new and may fade more with time.

why not leave everything the way it is?!

Just gotta tell ya, went back to the ol' Barb battlefield tonight and played about 4 matches back to back. I sure did have a blast!! I wasn't nearly as tired or stressed as when I finish a few rounds of "Ricola" *cough, cough*. Although I love the forest and have a great admiration for all of Bob's hard work and effort in that theatre of operation, Barb still offers some battle angles and rip-roaring killing fun that just can't be duplicated.

I really enjoy all {MOB} BAS battlefields and each offers it's own challenges that make them what they are, however, Barb is still near and dear to my heart because of what it is and the players it attracts. Just when I thought I was pretty much finished with it, I went back and it felt like talking with an old friend. I don't see it fading away anytime soon.

MOB with barb is like......feezy living without teddy bears. or DG playing without ever getting a spawnkill...
