I dont agree with banning some1 for this as it is not swearing, he wasn't warned, his opinion even if it is ignorant. I'm not saying i agree with him here so dont get me wrong, i'm your closest neighbor, however i think a fair warning is more in order here than a ban...

Oh, im not saying ban him if i come off wrong. Silver said ban him and since he was on during the time i was on, i got the guid number. I leave it entirely up to silver to decide what happens. I think ill play the neutral party in this one.

I think you should read the constitution of the country you hold so dear...try the 1st Amendment.

Your call to ban someone based on just their name goes against the very foundation of this document. For that matter you have and will continue to say what you want, when you want, in this forum and while we may agree or disagree with you on any given point, you still have the RIGHT to make that comment. I may not agree with the name used but unless something more than just his screen name was said or done....I don't see how you can ban him/her.

It's like a restaraunt. No shirt, No shoes, No service. You have the right to not wear a shirt or shoes but when you go on someone elses property you have to go by their rules. If MOB doesn't like the way someone presents themselves on their server which they own, then they can do whatever they want. They can do this because of the First Amendment.

Druid, I agree with the fact that the Amendments apply to federal government and this is MOB. But I find it hard to see the name "USA Sucks" as racist. Offensive to some...YES. Offensive to me....yep but, and not to pick on Big P but....a name like Rapist could certainly be considered offensive as well. I haven't heard of anyone calling for a ban of Big P nor would I expect to.

I read your post again and I was WRONG to connect the 1st Amendment to this. But someone should decide if a ban for racist names or comments also includes offensive names, but then you will enter the realm of deciding what is offensive and to whom.

Maybe all of this is moot as maybe this guy said and did some other things....I don't know. Just acting based on the information about his name.

{MOB} is a us server... we have a few members in the military... it disrespects them, and the ppl who support, died, and serve in many facets of our country!

I have seen many people with names that r racist to canadians and i havent seen them banned so just because the its a us server they get kicked. so where is the fairness in that? just my opinion!

Really, we Canadians enjoy the same things Americans do. Fur Trapping, Igloo Building, normal stuff like that.

I actually didn't know what a canuck was until I looked it up. And it's just a term for a Canadian like Americans are called Yanks. But if we went around saying Canada Sucks as our name then it would be offensive.

BTW I saw the "USASucks" guy on Cassino yesterday. He was speaking in German I think or some Europeon language.
