Hi everyone - great to be a member of the MOB crew after so many hours spent on your server appreciating how you run things. I've really enjoyed speaking to people on vent now that I have it and wanted to thank DG and Silver for help on that score.

I live in Virginia and am the Assistant Headmaster of a nice Independent School that is grade 8 - 12. I really enjoy all of the varied tasks associated with my job, the people and teaching. I teach Theory of Knowledge(an International Baccalaureate Course) and a bunch of computer stuff as well as the administrivia associated with Asst. Head position.

In my spare time I really enjoy reading, especially history.
I love to travel and have some family in England that I sometimes go to visit.
I sometimes daily try to learn a little French just to learn the language and because MikeD and I want to go to the Normandy Beaches next year.

I go Kayaking most weekends in the summer and love to go biking and hiking as well.
I also love to cook! I helped pay for college by cooking at a French/Italian Restaurant and so I do all the cooking in my house. My wife is currently bumming because I am away in California right now and she is living on a diet of beans and rice(her staple while I am gone)

I stay in touch with a lot of my old friends and we get together frequently and once a year do a biking/camping trip at Civil War battlefields. It is always great fun.

Currently reading "The Shoals of Time" A history of Hawaii
and
"Flags of our Fathers" a history of the guys who raised the flag on Iwo Jima.
"The short stories of Guy de Maupassant" This is a parallel book in French and English and very interesting.

Went hiking yesterday around Lake Tahoe and was amazed beyond belief at the beauty.
