I cian't believe I missed this yesterday.
Hahaha, I'm lil bit emo. But I don't have that hair cut. But I like some emo music. When I saw the title I started laughing.

i'd like to point out - there is a difference between "emo's" and "scenesters" and kids who think they are "hardxcore roxers !"
emo's like the softer quieter nicer music. all the kids you see now-a-days with such spikey hair over their eyes and the tightest pants, eyeliner, doing a "hXc!" dance are not emo's.
i think that may be who you are referring to, scruffy. because i know you don't hate me.

I don't think a hairstyle should completely define someone's personality, but a lot of times it helps. Don't always judge a book by it's cover. I had a mohawk throughout most of my high school years(late 80's) and I think it did tell people a lot about the music I was into... strange. Alterna-styles are so "in" nowadays, it's hard to tell who's into what sometimes.
