How's everybody doin' ?

Ok Look.... .... I know I'm a Noob here at MOB and my suggestion might be shot down like superman with a cryptonite bullet but wouldn't you guys and gals like to mix it up a little when it comes to maps.
Meaning the stock maps server, I'm sure there are a lot of people here at MOB that would like to see some different maps like 'Smolensk' or 'Broadsword' or 'Lazur' or 'Town Assault' or 'Gun Assault' or 'Varraville' or 'Kharkov'. These are all good base assault maps and it would be a refresshing change I think!!

Not all the maps has to be changed, just maybe 2 or 3 even if it is only for a little while.
I would totally understand if there are valid reasons for not being able to change the maps on the stock server but if there aren't then I would like to see it go to a vote.

what do you guys think?

ps. remember this is just a suggestion and not a challenge or insult to whoever is in charge of the servers!

Change is bad. Has anything good EVER come from change? I don't even like when the stock map changes from Foy to Italy!



I'm with ya, but when I feel the need, lots of servers (MOB too) have "special" maps. Don't mess with perfection.

There are a few cool mods out there, such as unlimited sprinting and ammo. AWE mod is pretty cool too. But my thoughts are not to mess with perfection. Please.

Stocks is stocks in my opinion. But what could use a new rotation of custom maps is Barb.

Also wouldn't mind seeing another map put in rotation with Cassino. I know it's been talked about, but nothing happened. My thoughts, Dawnville or Carentan.

Stock is going to stay stock. Thats why we have independent servers running Barbarossa, and Tuchola Forest.

Yea, Stocks and TF seem to be the most popular. Maybe add another small shootem up map like Carentan to Cassino, or another BAS map to Barb. Someone said today either Smolenesk or Broadsword.

Yeh I agree with you HarryCaray Smolensk or Broadsword as Bas maps along with Barbarossa or Tuchola Forest is a good idea.

Screw the stock maps idea

It should only be with Barb cause right now it's most unpopular. TF should stay as is, Stocks Server should stay as is too.

What about a good CnQ map (Smolensk or Lazur)?

Pick the best 4 custom BAS maps and run them on the barb server eg: Smolensk, Vitebsk, Barbarossa and Gun Assult ...I don't think you will lose the players who are already playing at MoB...myself included

Stay with whats drawing people in. You dont need to change something and not get people flowing in.

I think the stock maps server should stay stocks. However, I think that change can be good... sometimes. I would add more TDM maps to cassino at this point and some other maps to barb. Barb isn't the draw it once was.
However, we have tried to run other maps in the past and quite frankly, at that time at least, Barb was the only draw. Bob has created an awesome map in TF, but some of the other custom maps just didn't draw people in.
We could try a change with a few days warning on Barb. I think that might be best.

Bargod , if we could really do that it would be nice! What I would like to see with Barbarossa is Vitebsk!!!!

It is really a challenging map especially when full. See what you can do.

Even if we just try it for a week or so to begin with.
