I'll miss this guy.I always enjoyed his shows and his crazy way of reaching out to people and teaching them about the natural world.

Yes he was a real spokesperson.... but that event with his baby where he was puzzled by the public outrage disturbed me.

[/quote] this guy grew up in the very zoo with his mom and dad doing exactly what hes doing with his kids.on a previous show they both said they wanted to introduce their children to the animals from birth like he had been.the same thing was done with his daughter .i cant remeber when this exactly happend but i do know it was right around when michael jackson hung his baby out of the window which in my world -more disturbing. steve irwin knew every move that croc would make ,i highly doubt anything could have happend-although theres always a chance i guess!

i still feel really bad for his family or any family that loses a parent that was that close to his kids! he was the only animal show other than jeff corwin that showed that these animals werent pure killers to be hunted down! he really was an amazing person.he will be mssed in the animal world for sure!
