I went on the Mob vent tonight and was told (politely) that i was unwanted there being part of BsS. When I left Mob i did so without incident and I left under good terms. I know that there have been tensions between the two clans but I havent said or done anything against Mob and I would like to be able to go on to the Vent servers while playing Mob Maps and i am sure im am not the only member of BsS who would like to do this.

We would not be on there to recruit or "stir the pot" just to play the game as the game should be played, i just find it unfair to be "banned" when nothing wrong has been done. Please do not delete this topic feel free to send me a pm with a response.

There are people who are unfortunately caught up in this by no fault of their own.
At the same time, it's not our fault either.
We've been forced into this position because a few people couldn't leave well enough alone.


I was under the impression the message had been passed on to everyone in BsS to please stay off vent for the next week or two until things calm down. At that point we will contact people on a case by case basis with the new Ventrilo password.
In the meantime, everyone is welcome to play on the servers.
Just keep these 3 simple rules in mind.
1) Don't use the private password for the servers as it's reserved for the Regs & MOB.
2) Don't recruit on our servers.
3) Don't advertise your site or server on ours

I honestly don't see why temporarily not being on our vent should be a big issue.

as long as it is a temporary thing it is no issue, but there are still many people in Mob that I would still like to associate with. I find playing while being on Vent adds something to the game as you know and i would like to be able to have the experience in the future.

What is it with you people? Did you somehow think you could label us "old ass-hats" and worse, go join another clan and there would be no consequences? Do you somehow believe that coming onto another clan's server and vent channels to recruit players would be embraced by current members? Did you think that breaking into our TWL team's private strategy forum and stealing our game strategies and screen shots was going to be accepted? What do you take us for, complete idiots?

Rutuu, I'm not implying that you did any of these things, but several members of your new clan have not only been doing that, they are now guilty of trolling our forums and stirring up more crap. Is it any wonder we are united in our desire to put a stop to this??

so...just for sticking with our HHS team we're bad guys now hamma? we have to get a slap on the wrist because the tags in front of our name are different?

Well Hamma, if defending oneself from baseless accusation based on group affiliation is either trolling or stirring up crap, I am guilty.

No one would argue with your right or the ethics of keeping people who have broken the rules off the servers. But that's not the situation here and every adult should know that.

Lipton, Harry, Rutuu and Oh you are good kids/teenagers/whatever. What you are doing hurts them and that bothers me. As Lipton noted, he did nothing. NOTHING. He is being attacked because he belongs to a group that has individuals in it that you don't like. That is WRONG. It is wrong whenever and whereever it happens.

If you want to kick people or ban people or ask them to leave for a while, do it on an individual basis. I think that the net result of all of this is to show people, in this case the ones in HHS, just what MOB is like. It certainly makes the offer for them to become full MOB interesting though possibly significantly less appealing.

I don't think Lipton or anyone not named Silver or DG is being attacked. They are being asked to respect that there has been quite a bit of drama the past few weeks over the split. Asking that the group that split take a few weeks off of vent is not an attack. It's a cooling off period. If you would like to play with the ppl you are talking about invite them to your vent server as I'm sure the rest of your clan will have no problem with that either.

as we are not allowed to mention anything to do with BsS and we catch shit for even mentioning our server, vent or website because we are the axis of evil and advertising ourselves in a secret plan to overtake Mob.

To keep posting about it is not only a waste of your time but every ones else's as well.

There is no reason to beat a dead horse.
Consider this fair warning, the next person who can't help but go through this same thing again.
This temporary situation will become a permanent one.

I was a Reg. Meaning regular on the servers. I wasn't "in" MOB so I never really "left". I just dropped the Regs tags and no longer use the perks that a Reg receives. I don't see why the whole crap about us old Regs should be continued.

To the guys that left for the BSS team, please keep something in mind.

YOU left MOB (or MOB Regs). So there are some hurt feelings here. Think about it. When or where in your life did you ever leave one group or person for another, and not expect things to be awkward for a while?

Most of the guys who still want to hang, Lip and Harry and whomever, at least give everyone a little time to adjust. And please, stop acting "put out" because a few MOB guys want to let things cool down a bit, including maybe their own anger at some of the stuff that has happened.

IMO, I voiced some stuff with Miked a while ago, but on the other hand, MOB guys have been pretty damn accomodating overall given the split and exodus. I think that's because they like/respect the guys who are in this thread so they're trying their best to keep you guys in the loop without losing more clan members. In the meantime, I'd ask you guys try you best to understand that when you bolt one clan for another, it might take a few weeks for things to all work out in the end, and when that process is underway, it is the MOB guys and their concerns that come first. That's a benefit of clan membership, no?
