Any fans? How does it compare to COD:UO? Are there any other game types than domination (the review I read a year ago said that was the only game type)?

In fact, are there any other games that use a Base Assult type mode? It is so damn popular in COD, yet it is rarely emulated. I mean, COD2 doesn't emulate it! WTF?

OK, ramble off.

BF2 plays well and is mostly like the previous Battlefield series.
You have to take points on the map and hold them. The enemy
does that too and different places change hands possibly many
times. If your side can take them all & then eliminate all the
enemy, then your side WINS !! As great as BF2 is, I still pefer
Joint Operations Escalation because it has a co-op mission that
can be played by a human team online vs. AI bots....

BF2 is great. My computer can barely run it so i took it off. You have to use teamwork more so if you like that then it will be fun. The only thing that gets bad is if ur commander drops atillery on his on units. Hopefully they will catch him for it.

Its ok, you have to shot someone 50times to kill them but other then that its a fine game.

I dont play it anymore.

besides the fact it took them about 5 patches to somewhat get it organized and neat (not including the one they made before the game evern came out) it is a good game i do enjoy it but EA needs to make sure their games work before they put it out on the market which is why i like COD series their games work great

I used to play BF2 a lot. If you get on a team that plays well together, it's a lot of fun.

But if join a side that's just a bunch of pubbers, it's really frustrating. Players spawn and take off with the vehicles. Since the BF2 maps are huge, it then takes the individual soldiers left behind a l-o-n-g time to walk to some action. Then some jerk jumps into the commander seat and won't send ammo drops and won't send orders to get you help where you need it. If the other side has a good commander, your team is then sitting ducks.

Plus, I agree with Stryker, that Joint Ops was definitely better than BF2.

i played alot of bf 1942 and really liked it. planes ,tanks and ships in mp was great in my opinion.loved the jap zero and corsair but the german planes were awesome! i would be excited for this game.

If you think that the co-op in JO was good, hold on to your hats.
When they release the co-op mode in Crysis, it will be a tour you
won't believe. BTW, it will take more horsepower from your PC to
handle the new engine....
