As many of you may know,

Mrs. Flatliner is 4 months pregnant.

We found out a few weeks ago that we are having a girl.

We already have a little boy 2.5yrs. but I need advice on our newest family member.

I fear so little in life, but damn , I am petrified.

Congrats, Flatty!

She will spin you around her little finger for the next 30 years!

Congratulations Flat and Mrs. Flat! Such wonderful news!

Not sure, exactly, the advice you seek. However, put your fears to rest and enjoy every minute. Little girls are truly angels sent from God. I have been blessed with two of them and I wouldn't trade them for the world! Okay, maybe not the world, but I would consider it for a new widescreen monitor and a Z Board! LOL. tongue.gif

Have you narrowed the names to a few hundred choices yet?

Don't worry Flat, these things have a way of working themselves out as you go. All will be fine! Put your fears to rest buddy, and just enjoy every minute of the ride, 'cause it goes FAST!

S@B0T is right, little girls are a dream. My kids will be about the same ages apart as yours. My daughter is 4 1/2 now and my son is 2. One thing I can say, she has been so much easier than my son. Anyway, congrats.

This isn't really advice, but an observation, having 2 girls and one boy I know a girls diaper is easier to change, especially when they pee while changing, you don't get it up side the head.

With my boy I have to duck alot.

Also get used to her putting barrettes in your hair, (if you have any).

Oh, congratulations i'm sure you'll do fine.

Congrats Flat! I've got 2 boys, 3 1/2 and another who will be 2 next month. I'm always willing to offer advice, but I'm not sure you really want any from me, lol. I'm sure a lot of people hear have heard my parenting while on vent.

I know that feeling, my little girl has already done it, althought she is under 2 years old biggrin.gif All I can say is that she seems to be easier to handle and more willing to listen what she is told to do. And boy, she can already use those female gestures to her older brothers and to everyone else. She can keep her brothers in order by using voice or handbag..... WHAM!! biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Anyway, good luck Flatty and dont worry, everything goes fine.

Hey Bar, for the record, on vent you sound like a really great dad. I've always been impressed with how patient and loving you are, even when under heavy fire from a 3 1/2 year old's incessant demands/questions.

Congrats Flat! You are a very lucky man.

No fear my friend! I have a son (7 years) and 2 daughters(4 and 1year) myself. The fact is,(sorry to say) but you have no tits - and thats what your coming little princess really appreciates in her 1st year....And looking to your avatar she's not the only one in the family with that desire..... biggrin.gif

Joke asides, I wish you the very best. There is nothing more important in life than your kids. And I guess you know about the strong father-daughter relationship, which I am sure will grow stronger in the years to come. You are a lucky man Flatty. I just have one simple advice;

Love your child smile.gif
