I banned Jacksster Saturday night. He was acting like he was one of two computers then came the a strong clue. Russian three was planted and a captured kv1 was guarding it. Behind the kv1 was a russian named jackster who stood there and never moved. We think the other computer might be known to us but thats enough for now. GOOSE

Sure has been alot of "two computer cheating" going on. We are almost 100% sure on most of these because some players have been kicked/ banned after being observed in spec or on the board just standing around (afk) for long periods of time while the opposing team seems to know your every move. Once that player/spec is removed, the game situation turns around almost immediately.
Also, prior to receiving bans, these players have been on the servers quite frequently becoming well known to us regulars. However, they never engage in chat and continue exercising this strange behavior. Yet, they never come here to plead their cases after they are permanently removed, as we have seen other players dispute their kicks/ bans that are much less known to us.
Good job Goose! It's just too bad this happens because it ties up alot of peeps time that is better spent enjoying the game!

OMG! Why do people do that, cheating I mean, it takes out the fun and pride of playing, the fun is the part that you never know what's gonna happen(will that kv1 shell kill me or just injure?), and the pride is that you were able to outsmart out gun, and outpace the opponent and that makes you better than him(for at least till he respawns) and gives you pride and joy of a small, yes significan(for you) victory.
Cheating's for loosers, and if they put up a whole computer just to do that, well then it clearly makes them fools, I mean if you cheat you take out fun of playing with other people, and that's not cool, and make other players in a situation they don't want to be, being shot from the back without much retalliation.
GJ Goose, and now I know what the hell these people standing in spawn or in spec for way too long be doing sometimes, CHEATING!
Then again some people have advantages by having a better computer, maiking everyone with a framerate grather then 10 a cheater to me, J/k, lol...
PS I would not have tought of having 2 computers and using one to cheat, but I have 4 computers in my house... these punks are getting wittier and bolder by the day.
Just to add the server has been full when these people are doing it, thus taking a spot of someone who wants to play.

This is why I stopped playing in the forest. Well almost completly stopped. I pretty much just lone wolf it now; and run around with no pattern. And rarely plant.
It really sucked when I would single handle guard a base and the enemy would plant. I would scope out the area for enemy before attemping to defuse.(It takes forever to plant). I would pull a satchel well away from the base (so they should not hear me); but the enemy would stop planting and run up and kill me as I was dropping the satchel down the vent pipe (amazing but true). So now I just run down with it primed.
Also if you watch the beginning of a round some people hang around in spec to to watch witch way your main force goes and then they jump in; or so it seams.
//My wish is\\ It's to bad that the round could not be delayed so sides could be drawn up and assignements could be handed out. (I would love for the officers to hand out jobs to the peons). And anybody joining late would be auto assigned with 'no' exceptions. //End wish\\
Well now you've read my post and you cannot unread it.

Wouldn't it make more sense to spec if you were doing this type of cheating, instead of entering as a player and standing around?
As an additional point, why not limit spec to 5 minutes then autro kick (no timed ban...they can rejoin)? Or better yet, 5 minutes to non-MOB or Regs, but we can stay in spec longer?

Ban or kick?

How utterly pathetic. Is a score that important that you need to operate with two computers?

....
Just toss a satchel over the bunker wall into the stair area- from outside.... if the planters see it and run up you're further protected by the bunker wall to kill them as they come up the stairs.

And by the way jeffrey, a lot of times they probably hear your footsteps. I use that trick all the time, charging out to meet the enemy. Sometimes even when I know I'm being tracked I duck in, half plant so the other guy thinks I didn't see him, then when I think he's close I charge out hoping to catch him priming a satchel or gernade!
I have a feeling if a lot of us went onto other servers where they didn't know us, we'd be accused of cheating because of our great skills!
Thats why I prime the satchel before I get to the vent pipe. The only time this backfires on me is when some noob is blocking me from getting through the walkway to the vent and I kill myself. It really ticks me off when someone blocks doorways!

You know, if two computer are attached to the same Internet connection, then in the VSP stats it will show both people as an "alais" for at least one of the players. For example, I took my computer to Noclass's place and played over his connection, and after that I'm listed as one of his aliases, even though we didn't play on each other's computer, just on his Internet connection!
Sooo, next time this happens can't we just note the names, and then look it up to see if either name also is an "alais" for someone else? I mean, it's not definitive proof. Me and Noclass were just playing normal. But it someone is playing really suspicious and the alias list backs it up, then you have some good proof.
p.s. To prove the concept, look at Noclasses alias list, I'm one of them, even though he never used my name on his computer. I don't know how or why this works this way, just that it does.
