My buddie Evilstoy, told me a few minites ago that he was banned from TF....he'd like to be unbanned and told why he was banned....he turned on his computer and wanted to play on TF and while he was loading it told him he was banned for some reason......

Hey Spartan, I would venture to guess that his ban is a mistake. But, most likely, he will need to come in to the forums and plead his case (i.e. date this happened, his GUID, approximately when was the last time he played on TF, and any other pertinent info he can think of. This will help Mike and anyone else with gathering the info necessary to investigate the problem.

Incidentally, I have played alot with EvilsToy and never had a problem, nor was he ever a server concern. Probably a mistake.

He doesnt know thats the thing...he told me that "I went to sleep last night after playing with you guys and then this morning I saw you playing and I decided to join you but IT said that I was banned....."
He has no recolection of being banned at all.....Weird situation eh?
Anyway Iam guessing that he was banned last night during a later time....I think that this could be fixed with a trip to the TF scripts

Found the problem. "Evils toy" was actually being attacked by a player called "vet". vet had started his string of foul comments with the Evils toy name which made it appear that Evils toy was saying it.

Evils toy has been unbanned and vet is now banned.

The unbanning will be effective at next server reset. Default reset time is 6am but it can also be reset when the server is empty via the MOB server control panel.
