One thing that isnt a tank.
Maybe a assault gun or a anti-tank.

Tanks after WWI had turrets. But give me alittle time i think i can remember what kind of armour unit that is.

Yup, not tank cause its an assault gun... probably from vietnam war, the paratroopers insignia looked like that during that time.... and the armor looks thin enought so it would be liket and possible to drop from aircraft or helikopters on parashutes... the thin armor als makes sence because the NV didn't have really any antitank field weapons such as bazookas, so the armor enought to stop bullets... '

Also it looks crude enought to be either a prototype or like a sort of field-make-out-of-crap-found-around-by-soldiers.

Canadian! HA! I know what that is! Its a British Bren Gun carrige motorizzed carrige used by most of the commonwealth countries during ww2(that includes canada)... Used hevily during the advances in europe, probably was used by the Canadian paratroops during operation "Marked Garden" in sept '44. But the only thing that dosen't fit is fact that it had a big cannon. Normally they didn't have 'em, but maybe this is some sort of modified version for bunker busting or something... well that's what it looks like... look up Bren gunna carrige, its got a real name, but bren gun carrige should give you somethin that look like what you got on picture, only without the big gun.
Cross of Iron
Its NOT a Bren Carrier as its to small.(holds 5)........most units of that size were used for advance hit and run or scouting ahead of the main force,It had to be lightly armouered ,so it could turn tail and return to main force,to tell them the recon reports.

Well after looking at some of my WW2 books i have. I think it might be carrier armoured OPNo.1 Mk III, base on the bren carrier types but was redesign for a light anti-tank role. There are maney roles that the british and other allies made the Universal Carrier. Troop carrier, antitank, mortar support, and afew more where design base on the carrier for different types of jobs in the war.

I might be wrong with this one in the photo cause i only read about the different types of Universal Carriers they made during the war and the book only had some photos of them not all of tthem.

By the way the USA made there own type of carrier base from the british Universal Carriers. T-16 Carrier re-engineered by Ford. The Canadians use some T16 also.
