First off Welcome Dink/Seth to our forums and I hope you enjoy the servers that MOB has offered to the general public.Whom I might add would not be posable with out the support of "MOB'ers" and the "Regs".Its all for one and one for all around here.Even the little guy with lack of skills is respected and valued here. We all have something to add as a clan ragardless of classafication.To push Up the little guy and support him/her in there hour of need is most important and expected around here..Please don't use derogatory comments about your posable clan members to push yourself up ,it will only work against you in the future.

Please by all means stop by the stock maps sometime and give us Regs a lesson or two were just dieing to meet you on the Battlefield.Now granted Im only average at best but I'm sure you set a fire under about...lets see 35 or 40 Regs that im sure would love to meet you in person.

I too, like THE Mechanic and Canadian Viper have poor to average skillz, perhaps you could jump on the Barbarossa server sometime and instruct us in the fine art of Dink ownage. Communication is an art form. Some work at it and perfect it and some are content to just get by. Written communication is very tricky. Writing involves seeing an idea, (with the minds eye) having that idea travel the length of ones arm, through the fingers and, in this case, to the keyboard. The keyboard is then used to build a picture, in text form, of the idea in your minds eye. If you are successful, after reading your work, other people will see the very same idea in their mind that you have in yours. A Very tricky task and it is easily mistaken as arrogant, self-serving, and condescending if not written well, or punctuated properly.

While I am quite certain you did not mean to imply that the good people in {MOB}[Regs] have poor playing skills, it came across that way in your post. I suggest that before you post something, re-read what you have written, not as the author, but as a neutral individual. See if your message comes across as you meant it, or change it if it seems to say something other than what you had pictured in your minds eye. That way, perhaps, you won't feel as if everyone is miffed at your arrogance, and you won't feel as if everyone is picking at you. "Communication" - word for the day! Practice, practice, practice!

I edited this post because it took me a long time to write it. By the time I posted Sabot have put his post in, I read his very well wrote post and thought about what he said and considered dink position.

Well to say the least I am sure that no one including me came here to shoot you down, but then again maybe you should not post without knowing what the Regs are all about. Reading the F.A.Q regarding the difference between the MOB and MOBRegs might have helped you out.

The Regs is a community within MOB that offers players the opportunity to be part of a clan without the responsibities associated with being a clan and for those that do not have the time or desire to participate in full time competitive matches.

Many or should I say most of our Regs have outstanding skills in the gaming field and they play a variety of games: Some CODUO some COD2 and other games to boot. Some take the time to create signatures and others help set up and run scrims, assist with computer problems and well a heck of alot of other things as well. The community between the MOB and the MOBRegs is very tight and we always help each other out when ever needed. MOB and the Regs scrim together, practice together and cheer each other on.

Your post was an insult to our entire Reg community and that's why I as well as many others will give you some "shots", as you called it.

BTW Bro: Truefully, I know more Regs who would own you.

Wow Dink. You've gone a long way to put some people off with only 2-3 posts. While you've rubbed some the wrong way an apology would go a long way in building a better raport with everyone in MOB. The Regs are just as important to this clan as full MOB members are. In fact most of the full MOB members were Regs at one point. I'm sure after all this blows over we'll all look back and laugh at how our good buddy dink made all the Regs mad. Just keep playing on the severs and get on vent so that we can all get to know you and this will all be a memory. Welcome to the forums and try and think through your posts before you send them. One more thing. If you are going to make it around here expect some "shit" to come your way. We all have a good time giving each other a hard time. Some of which you just experienced.

Welcome, even though it was a rocky start for you.

Barbarossa is a fast paced BAS map that many many many of us are in on a regualr basis....and it is one of the maps that we have competed on in scrims.

I have been a reg for almost a year, and it takes time for all members to get in so be patient. There are a few tiny perks to being a reg, and it is nice that competition is not required, the top floor with the full mobbers is the competitive group, among a few more responsibilites. MANY of us don't want all of that so not only are we content with being regs, but we prefer it.
