We have Decided to change our current banner. Anyone who would like to Make a banner for us we would appreciate very much. The current banner Is nice and its classic, But it has BF2...Which we don't play. Soo If anyone does volunteer, Plz do not make it with BF2 logo. The only Logos needed are CODUO, COD2, And Mohaa (its our past). other than that you are free to design what you want.

I think that is a good first try. I think we should have a few entries, then vote for the best submissions. Included would of course be the original. Just my thoughts on the process. Also be nice to hear what the admins think.

Alright I agree. Everyone can submit they're entries and when they have their final draft, We Will vote on who's will be placed up on the wall of fame.

Soo far We have 1 entry.
Soo in order for people to see them plz state the name of the banner. and the banner itself soo we can later vote on it.

Pretty nice! It needs to be balanced out a bit better, imo. I'd love to see some more ideas.

I'll mess around w/some ideas today when I have some free time.

I enjoy seeing Pez's master pieces

I played around w/this one today, pretty much just showing the road from France to Germany. Added a lot of wear and tear(scrapes, coffee stains, smudges) which can be taken out if unwanted. Constructive criticism is welcome and appreciated as always.

I think the second one is awesome. I like the antique aged look to it.

Added a bit more into this one and softened the edges on the soldiers.

Including some elements from the rest of the page would really tie it in with the theme. Also Having MOB or MOB Clan more prominent... I thought the very first one was aite...



you know what is really cool, there is a mod that bullet holes appear in your screen... that is right on... just idea. Here is a couple bob screens I got playin around with fraps the other day...

I think they both look good but my money's on the top one (sorry 6Pak but I gotta play the devil's advocate ). IMO it would stand out more. Bottom one looks good but a bit subdued.

I didn't know the images had to be from MOH or COD? I figured WW2 based would be fine, but I can pull my submissions and put something else up there tomorrow. Note, the maps aren't from MOH or COD either, lol. I just liked the idea of the France to Germany transition... was actually thinking about putting Germany in the middle and having Russia on the right side.

I like the maps in the background. If you notice the difference in Pez's first and second one... Look at the tags. In one he has MOB written under the tags. Hey Pez can you add T/A6Pak faint...LOL just kidding:) It's like there is hidden pictures.

Its like putting Wheres waldo in a small room with nothing in it. It sticks out.

I did add faint soldier pics into the maps. The one all the way left over the map of France is the DDay landing, the middle is Battle of the Bulge, and the far right is an HQ building in Germany.

I'm creating a new thread because I can't reply or post on the current "banner" thread.

I'm getting a few PMs from Spartan and it's a bit confusing. From what he's saying, MOB wants something like CreepingDeath's, the transition of MOH to COD in the banner, but with the dogtags. He also mentioned having the game logos, which I had already included in my first design. Guess what I'm driving at is MOB should post what they'd like to see in the banner so it's easier on folks that are designing it. Otherwise, pick from what is made cause it's really hard to make everyone happy without much direction.

I also don't think that most people know what it takes to create images, sometimes several hours and many layers.

My thoughts;

leave out the game titles because you could find yourself in the same situation that you're in now. I assumed that MOB would be doing a WW2 theme so it didn't matter what game the images came from, especially since it's using actually art or renders. Seeing now that I'm limited to CoD:UO and Medal of Honor, I'm finding it hard to find quality images that work well.

I'll submit another soon that meet Spartan's requirements, but I'm still finding the first submissions hard to beat.

I like the one you have up but you need MOBs saying in there for old times

First, if you guys are going w/the colored version... use the latest one with more map blips, etc.

Second, can I send you guys a copy w/MOB Forums written on it w/a better font. The font on there now is very cartoonish, like Ren and Stimpy.

Third, I can make the image longer or to whatever specs needed. I just used the same size that was there previously.
