I have been playing on Tuchola for a while now. Never break the rules, always treat people fair and never talk smack.

Sun 2/11/07 at approx. 6:20 EST another player started talking smack to me because I killed him more than once. I returned volley, told him to bite me. Never swore, never started anything. He got kicked because he broke a language rule and I gor kicked for "instigating"

I have been an admin on a server and know that you can review the log to see who said what. I did not deserve a kick for what I did. Even a temporary one.

Did I miss anything? If you would have left him alone he wouldn't have been rambling on, and he wouldn't have been kicked. But no, you had to get the last word in. So I gave you some time out. And then after I kicked him you had to come back with LOL.

So one of us clearly does not understand the definition of 'instigating.' It means to START something. I was playing and minding my own business and he calls me a "BS ARTIST" because I killed him 2-3 times in a row. Then he swears and breaks a server rule. And YOU think the problem is me not leaving HIM alone?

Can you point out a specific server rule I BROKE?

96, don't see the need for the public bash, but ok man. I see how you are. And Elroy, the guy asked you to just play. That should have clued you in to just drop it.

You're just too quick to kick people. Did you warn either of them? Sure doesn't look like it. You should warn people first before you go and kick them. I rarely have to ban/kick someone, in fact I think I've only done it maybe two times. All I do is warn them, and most of them will leave on their own or quit acting up.

I still do not see where I broke ANY SERVER RULES. The judgment in question here is not mine.

I have been playing a LONG TIME and have never been kicked or banned from a server. EVER. I always follow server rules and follow admin's direction. As I mentioned I have adminned servers myself.

I expected more from a MOB server.

Heres what I think...I do think that you instigated #1 and 2 Radiation was right to kick you.
Why do I think this? well because He said one comment and you continued with a flurry of comments. The guy asked you to chill and you continued. While He was wrong to have started it You continued the fight and made things worse. Now Honestly I think this should be dropped because I think that Radiation was right.

If someone would have said that to me I would have responded the same way. Trash talking is fun, and so is instigating people who call BS on you. Is there a point when it needs to stop? Yes. Was that little dialog to that point? No.

Elroy, I hear you man! I think that Radiation was just trying to eliminate the possibility of a bad situation turning into a really bad situation and removed you both.

While we really enjoy having you on the server and you are an excellent player and always mindful of others and the rules, this was an unfortunate situation and I am sorry it happened. The guy should have kept his mouth shut, and even though we don't want you to take any unnecessary crap, we kinda have to take measures to isolate these incidents as they happen. You have been there before, I'm sure you know how it can be.

Should you have been removed? It was a judgement call, and our judgement at the time was yes. Perhaps a warning should have been issued, but sometimes, especially if an admin is leaving the server or some other situation prevents a warning from being broadcast, we just have to remove the problem and in this case both players had to go.

We have recently adopted an "almost zero tolerance policy" regarding who may be right and who may not be right in server disputes. That is what makes our servers a great place to play because we bring the discussion here instead of having discussions like this on the server.

I am sorry that you were removed from the game and I could go on and on about how we do this to stop ALL arguments and such, but you are obviously an intelligent person and can certainly see both sides, I'm sure, and my droning on about such stuff would really be a waste of your time.

With that said, I hope you will accept our apologies and just know that we do not harbor any hard feelings or ill will toward you in any way. I hope you feel the same way about us. You are one of few players that we all know and like very much, and would like to put this behind us. Just know that we appreciate your point of view and it has been noted.

Here's the way I see it. If MOB wants to argue the point, do it on a private forum so the whole world doesn't see. This makes us look just a bit unprofessional.
