Dear Members of MOB,



I was just banned from the Barb server. It happend right after I ran a Mob member over, with the HT, who was on the other team,(I always try to be a Kraut), and the Mob guy was a Ruskie. I do confess that I ran him over with Malice, and it felt good, but isn't banning a me a bit extreme? I do enjoy playing on this server, and you can ask anyone that I don't mess around.

I believe it was your "standing around" for an extended period of time that got you removed. I only overheard the conversation on vent, but someone reported you as "AFK" for a long period of time. We monitor the specs and the AFK's closely as they have been known to cheat, both with other players and by themselves with two computers.

If you are here to play.....keep moving.

Besides the server was "standing room only" tonight and if you weren't playing, there were peeps on vent wanting in!

Yeah, I did have to leave my keyboard for a bit, and for that Im sorry. I didn't think I was gone that long. I didn't know that being AFK for nature breaks was a ban offense.

Usually being AFK is not a bannable offense. LOL.

But, I think someone mentioned you were gone a good bit of time and I think that the name "Grim" is associated or was associated with a problem on our servers not too long ago and with that, you were removed.

I think Goose removed you after several people confirmed your absence for a long period of time. However, just being AFK is not a bannable offense. I will talk to Mike and Goose and see if we can get the ban removed.

Mike, if you are reading this, I was there for this and it was a mistake. There were several players that said he was AFK and he should have been kicked to make room, not banned. We were all on Barbarossa. He was BANNED around 7:30 pm CST if you could fix this please.

and my name is in all Red Letters. This is the Dad. LittleGrim was my son, who got banned. I tried to plead his case, was denied, I told him that there were penalties in life and to move on.

Viper you are correct. It was his young son that was banned. Actually, it was probably their shared computer or shared copy of the game, but the child was the problem, not the dad. Tonight the dad was banned, more or less, for standing around afk when the server was full and was tagged a spy. The rest, as we say, is history. LOL.

Mr. Grim, to come in here with a history, and present yourself this way is counter productive to your cause. if you truly enjoy the {MOB} servers, the ones the regs and MOB guys pay to support, you must learn to present yourself in a much more remorseful manner.

Actually, my son and I each have our own copy, so that we could play at the same time. Then he and my buddy STRYKER'S daughter got banned for messing around. I told him and told him, but he did not heed my words... Now he thinks its funny that I got banned. Just so that there are no misunderstands. I really like to play on this server, my stats on the server are not to shabby.



I wouldn't make a very good spy.

I was trying to be funny with the Subject line. Since I was kick right after I ran over a Mob member. I didn't know that they thought I was a spy..Next time Nature calls I will just exit the server to open up the space. I don't want this to turn nasty or anything...haha.

Thanks for the clairification. You have made your case. It is now up to the MOB member that did the ban to decide if you will be unbanned. This thread be closed until the decision is made.
