When playing different PC games you almost always have to put in your CD to play. (COD-Multiplayer is the only exception I know). I'm so tired of this.

Is there a possability to download "something" (CD-keys or whatever) so I don' have to put in the CD every time? Is this a known problem btw?
I find that odd Klerance as all the games I have and DJ have you only have to put the CD key in once and it stays in. I have never heard of this, sorry I can't help.

I think Kleerance is saying that with other games he/we have to use the CD to play. I know I share your frustration as this gets tedious and my concern is what do I do when I damage my CD because I use them alot?
Their used to be "NO CD" patches you could download and install (remove your .exe file and replace it with the "no CD patch) and you could play without ever using the CD again. But, as with all good things - that era came to an end and was replaced by patches that could only be found on Juarez sites and usually came with a virus attatched.
Then the game makers figured out these tricks and have incorporated more sophisticated anti-piracy software that now requires you to ALWAYS use your CD's when you start the game. The game .exe files require a match from your D: drive or it will not execute. Suks, I know. At present there are probably some illegal patches that might work, but be careful as they usually give your machine something that your antivirus will have Hell removing.
Until another anit-cheat/theft technology is found and can be incorporated, I am afraid that we are stuck loading the CD everytime we want to play.
Whenever I get a new game, I go directly to www.gamecopyworld.com and get the no-cd patch. This obviously doesn't stop people from sharing games that require a cd-key to play multiplayer games, but it's very convenient and I don't have to dig up cds and pop them in and out of the pc.
I remember a friend of mine had similar complaints. He told me he had this program called Ghost Drive. It would store the cd info in there and not require the cd to play his games. Dont know if it works well with all games, but I know it did for him.
once again, ive had the all seeing eye (free) and it has all my games loaded to it and never have to do the cd key thing.
try this website www.gamecopyworld.com
i think you can copy the file from the CD and it will work forget which one though, did that with BF2 for the shorttime ive played it
