banned a capt foley today around 12 35 for what i witnessed ,multiple tks on the jeep map . had cyber ,live to kill and a few others who were able to get the ss while i was banning him.if you guys could post them it would be great.

Guys, wait a sec. That map is very peculiar in that it's the only one where if you run into a team mate, you can hurt or kill them. Many players come into that map completely unaware that they are hurting or tk-ing, until someone specifically tells them.

I just read through the log for today. I see you guys, Live2Kill, Midnight, and Undead fussing at players for tk-ing with the bikes. You're obviously already getting very mad about this.

And then I see Foley come into the game, he says hello.

There are no warnings at all given directly to Foley, nor any direct contact made with him at all. But I do see more general complaining going on.

Then I see Undead write, " Foley say ban??????"

Uh, Undead, what was that supposed to mean? Did you mean it to be a warning??? If I don't understand it, how could Foley???

And then Foley is banned.

Guys, I wasn't there, but please from the log, this ban does not look fair at all. Foley wasn't given any warning. You never even screen-typed to him and got him to write back that you were displeased at him. You didn't follow procedure of warn, then kick, then warn again, then ban, and bring evidence to prove the need for banning.

He just comes into a map and gets banned, all within one minute. That's why there are no screen-shots, because Foley's bad behavior and ban happened too quickly to get any evidence.

Not good. I hereby request a clan review of this action.

Ur right steel we shudnt have rushed things about that it probably wasnt his fault ....

It's not "Oh well" -- it is very serious to even kick a player, let alone without any warning whatsoever. And it's completely unacceptable to ban a player without any warning, no kick first, no contact with him whatsoever!!

This will not happen again, or I will do some heavy whacking of my own.

Sorry, I should not have posted... I didn't know the maps ran that way... and read it like a kick. No early posting for me anymore!!

Seems no-one intended any harm. Undead was likely trying to sort out the TK'ing during the craziness of of the round when Foley appeared and did it.

Steel's review of the log is the 20/20 hindsight vision we wish we could use in our daily lives.

So it appears clear that the ban should be lifted. I was also not aware of the TK ability of some of these maps. I have not been playing much lately as the downloads take too long for my DSL provider. + I constantly get file conflicts with the mod's. OK, I'm sorry. I lost track of the point here. LoL

sorry ,i just got home. someone had complained about rambler being tkd but i didnt take that complaint seriously because ive known rambler for a while and he wouldve said something to me . a while later , i witnessed foley driving the motor cycle into one guy while i was prone and then again into a group of people , jumping off just prior both times , it killed atleast 5 people the second shot ,then does the childish "sorry" in which ive seen so many times before . i tried to get him out of there asap so it didnt happen a third time and asked after word if anyone got ss ,im sure the log will show that was my first question after the ban . cyber, live to kill said yes as well as tank (?) there was no question from any palyer as to who was team killing and i dont just ban someone for the hell of it,the first time he almost got me ,the second time it was infront of me and very blatant . multiple tks ,cheating and recruiting do not require a warning imo ,the ban was just .
