Looking to upgrade vid card currently running Nvidia TNT2 Pro 32mb
I have AMD K7 1.0 GHz processor
256 standard ram

Looking for strictly gaming applications/speed but with little conflicts to deal with in MOHAA/Spearhead and 1942
Open to suggestions!!

I would not buy anything better than that for the system that you are currently running.

same here GF 4 TI 4400 and I love it getting about 80-100fps at 1280x1024 and just about every thing maxed

You can can also get the Ati Radeon 9500 Pro and flash the card and have a 9700 pro for about a $100 less.

im running the new nvidea FX 5200 agp with 128 ddr ram on mohaa and it runs great. i only paid like 100.00 at comp usa

Set it a 0 instead of 250 for infinity. However, I wish my rig could even pull down 250 FPS!

It max's out your fps. It won't say anything in console, it'll just happen. and I thought 250 was max. I've hit 214ish, I think that's the most I've ever reached.

Zilla it maked the game much more smoother, and its easier to shoot people

iv seen mine hit 450fps in some maps with everything maxed

I think some porkies are being told here I have a 2.2g AMD and 1024ddr with 9700 pro all the lot max out and it runs sweet but I am a speed freak and always want the next thing christ those 9800 pro 256ddr look nice but I must stop somewhere.

Will have to get in the servers some time soon last few times they were full anyway up the pistols

was wondering fellas....I need to upgrade my processor, what should I get? I have a compac 5006US with a 766 mhz Celeron now, 64 MB G force card. It cost me $50 just to take it into the shop. What kind should I get?

I would get an AMD, but you will probably need a new mobo too. Which if your talking a a athlon 2200 and a new mobo around $300-500. I could be wrong on price though. Good luck!

Well then how about it Epacy what is the best system aka bang for the buck that you could put together right now. Im running a Athlon XP 1800 System right now but want to step up to at least a XP 2600 or more.

Im running a K7S5A board. Its a cheapo board I think it will run up to a XP2400.

24fast few things, first, for a video card do some searching on newegg.com, go biggest bang for your buck....make sure it has a good warranty though, just in case.
Also, u never said if u were running XP or not, but if u r, u may want to consider get another 256mb's of ram. XP is sluggish with 256 & not 512..... i know that from experience.
