OK RANT START>>>>> cussing.gif

personally, being a bigfan boy of the MOh series, i still play Spearhead online and love it. I had really high hopes for the game..but the issues with ditch low Frame rates, the problems with installing the game, mouse lag the lack of dedicated servers and offline LAN support not to mention this odd ball thing for your ingame name..you have to generate an account which the cd key is tied to and thats the name you have to use in game and there is no ability as of yet to choose another name or apply your clan tags.. comp26.gif

The graphics do look amazing, but the AI is dumb as a stump. I know EA is going to have dedicated servers ready to go somewhere kinda sotra around the 17th to 21st of the month. I just don't see how they released this game in the current pathetic state its in...well i guess we know why. they wanted to beat COD4 release and they did. As it is right now i see this game as some adavanced BETa of the final rlease..games like this rely for there very existence on Multiplayer, and to release the game with only a 12 person multiplayer on some last minute dollar store listen server system that barely works makes me wonder if there was a sale on tequila the day they cooked up this idea...

i am holding hope out that they get a patch out...SOON... to fix some of the serious things wrong with this
game. You would have to be a New York Central Park crack addict to have missed some of the problems...like the issue just to install the game??? eusa_wall.gif

anyways..hope EA pulls themselves together and fixes this thing soon...because i have a feeling when COD4 comes out..its gonna bulldoze any hopes EA had of this game becoming as popular as they hoped.

OK RANT OVER>>> tongue.gif

If COD4 uses "Steam" as they have said it would, that is an
Automatic NOT buying it as far as I am concerned....

Nope, not true. I made this previous post:

There seems to be some confusion about the association of Steam with COD4. Many folks think that COD4 will be using a gaming engine like the Half Life2 game which was developed by Valve and made available with their delivery system called Steam. The announcement that confused so many people was referencing the Steam group distribution option for paying and downloading the game. Apparently they had the same deal with COD2. Valve or their content delivery system, Steam, has nothing to do with the COD4 game engine.

If you have not read this review from the first real gamers to play COD4, take a moment to see what this game is really like:

out of all the issues at hand ,the signing in and using the registered name is the thing that bugs me the most.i think itll be a cool game when they get it patched but is it going to cover all the issues ,because theres alot of issues.im amazed that a company would release a game in this state.

I agree that COD 4 will blow this game away....
