Today I tried to go on the CTF Rifles server with a couple people today and when I clicked on the server, it started to download something. Dont know if it was a map or a mod or whatever. But while it was downloading I heard someone say on vent to use our password and I hit esc. to go and put the password in. After I put the password in, I clicked on the server again but now there was no download attempt and it gives me this:
Click to view attachmentI assume that the maps didnt load correctly. It happens with a couple maps such as Harbor, Carenten and now POWCamp. I tried to locate these maps in my UO folder to delete them and hopefully re-download, but cant locate them.
I also went and downloaded the UO mappack and when I try to run it it tells me that my version of COD UO is invalid???
Im stuck. Would like to play these in the rifles server, but need some help. Can someone tell me what I need to do?

Sometimes the "allow downloads" switch reverts to no. Don't know why, it just does. Happens to me quite often.

Mine is set to yes. It must have something to do with the download not being complete when I stopped it. Does anyone else know?
It's uomappack00.pk3. Either you don't have it or what you have is corrupted, so delete it out of your /uo directory and let it download again.
uomappack00.pk3 came as one of the extras for CODUO at or after the very last upgrade package. It replaces some of the standard COD maps with CODUO versions of the maps that couldn't do some things in uo like drop artillery, or have other minor mapping changes. But, some people never bothered to get it, others deleted it out when they played on various custom map servers that barfed if it was in their /uo directory. But on Rifles CTF, you need it, cause that server runs the modified uo versions of the stock COD maps.
Where exactly would this uomappack00.pk3 be? I looked in Program files/call of duty/UO and dont see it in there. Is that where it should be? Where can I download it from also?

Mine is in my Call of Duty uo folder. It's pretty good size...38.5 meg. Is there a similarly named .pk3 file? Like uomappack00****.pk3?
**** being other characters (numbers/letters)
If there is then the corrupted download may think it's complete. So delete it and let it download again.
I researched it a bit online and you aren't the only one this has happened to.

If you're not seeing it in your /uo directory, then some remnants may still be there, in some tmp file or something. Best bet is to run the cod multi-fixer, to clean out everything from your /uo and then try again. I question your hunkusage.dat file that might have corruption or something, etc.
See this post for the multi-fixer

Wow, thats weird. I ran that COD Multi Fixer and it tells me that COD United Offensive is not installed??? How come?

This kid knows why Nothing;
He says something about seeing dead cod installations
I got the problem fixed. I finally got that COD fixer to work and took out a ton of files. Then, I was able to run that mappak program that was constantly saying I did not have a valid version of COD UO.
Many thanks Steel!!! Your the greatest!!!
Glad that helped. You're most welcome.
