I just bought this game today. Installing it now and will be getting ready
for some great battles. COD4 will go on the shelf till they get it right.
By right, I mean, maps 10x larger and driveable land, air & sea vehicles.

O'boy. You really have some references concerning wargames. Speaking for myself I have a hard time mastering the few games I have.

I don't think that anything is impossible when it comes to this game.
I, and many others, are pushing for a MP co-op mission like the SP
where the guys chuting down to the island are all human players....

BTW, a modder over at Crymod.com has made a autoexec file that gives the

game much more graphic ability from an older PC system. I run the game on

about the lowest settings and it did wonders for what I see now. Framerates

were improved too. I really love the SP maps but the MP is way off base for

me. They need to create a co-op mode in MP to take advantage of the

fantastic maps that SP is using and modders are making....

An experienced modder & map-maker working with Crysis has done an SP map
with both friendly & NK enemy bots. He has also got them to fight. He is now
working to get them (friendlys) to accompany you (player) in your quest for
mission goals. Seems to be the next best thing to co-op MP. I love playing
Crysis in SP but I long for some buddies to fight along side me. If they can't be humans till the game is patched, then I will settle for some AI companions....

Every game released is gonna have patches cause they just can't
be released in perfect condition. But of course it depends if you
are dealing with a Hummer type game or an old Model-T type.....

This is a great thread! Please update it with any mods that get alot of popularity or you like to play personally . I've got Crysis...About half way through the Single Player...But I'm a multiplayer kind of guy, and their MP is just horrific...

YES, their multiplayer looks like just an after thought to the incredible SP game they produced.

After playing SP, I checked out the MP side and said to myself (is this a differnet game) It sure

looked that way. I will wait till they get co-op with the SP maps. Then we will have a fantastic

MP side of Crysis.....
