Ok, so I've figured out how to use my PS3 as a wireless media centre using a program called Tversity - which is way cool, I can stream all my MP3s and Movies from my desktop computer to my PS3 and big TV in the basement - however, I was wondering if doing this uses bandwidth. ie. bandwidth in the sense that my ISP sees it. My current ISP has a monthly cap on upload/download so I dont want to be streaming MP3s or DivX movies if it will affect my ISP bill at the end of the month!
As I understand it, the traffic is local/intranet so nothing is going to/from my ISP and therefore it wont affect my download/upload limits. Is this right?
Thanks for any info.
