The review of BCP has finally been put up at Dread Central.com (the foremost authority on Horror). You can find the review here.

Yay!
Robert

I don't know if the embed will work...

I also found the Youtubes of a guy who did a video interview with Mike at Fear Fest. I think he was associated with Dread Central, but I'm not certain. I thought I was going to have a turn as well, which is why I didn't say anything when Mike introduces me. I was wrong.
Part 1
Part 2

I should mention in part 2 that Mike is drunk and we haven't been announced as accepted at those festivals. We've had festivals ask us for beta copies that are the higher end copies rather than a regular DVD, which implies that it will be shown. I'm not making any announcements until the festivals make announcements.

I had chili for lunch yesterday tongue.gif .

AFI Dallas is going on right now and I'm trying to find Mike so we can go out and schmooze.

have you upped it into multiple movie forums and sites? this would allow you to capture a cult following and make a good dollar on a sequel biggrin.gif .i dont know the film biz ,so i do not know the legality of upping/sharing your own film with viewers.this would possibly allow you to create movie 2 and own the rights.i know that just like comedy freaks ,love movie junkies ,the action jacksons and the sci fi dorkies ,there is a huge,if not larger, following in the horror flicks ,not that i have to tell you.

Good stuff Bar;
I like the part about over-extended scenes - it puts you up there with Oliver Stone and Spike Lee.... lol laugh.gif

ps. Another great promo tip is to go to EVERY other similar genre you-tube clip and leave your clip as a VIDEO COMMENT REPLY - you can find that option directly under the clip title on the right side as a posting option. Don't feel squeamish about doing it [actually how could mr.up-and-coming Stephen King be!] its a good marketing strategy as long as you add an unspammy kind of text along with it.

One of the festivals the guys said we are already accepted into, but it hasn't been announced yet, is a festival in England. If this is legit (I haven't talked to them so I'm basing this on what I've been told by my partner) then they will be showing our movie on BBC4 or whatever their horror channel is and there will be a distribution deal for the UK.
If we get that then we will probably get into more festivals here.
We'd like to be selling it by the fall, but I think we are going to need to fix the sound to do that. Hopefully we can make enough money off the UK distribution to fix the sound up a bit and get it on the shelf at Blockbuster.

Bar, should try promoting via a created Myspace page for either the movie and/or your film company.

I see Cpt.Canuck, well ahead of things with inner circle info.... lol, thanks.

ok- let me add this then Bar....

You can embed your Youtube movie trailer directly in your myspace page.
ps-I had a friend with your name way back in junior school.
Bargod
Maybe it was me...
I thought I had put the trailer on my page. Hmmm... I'll check into it.

Well you are correct that the trailer occupies the 'network' heading slot in the upper right corner.
But you can easily embed the trailer in its fuller size to occupy that section in your lower left page where there's a vast emptiness- let me know if you want that and I'll post you the code for you to add it in via the 'edit your profile' area.

Hey Chris, it sure is great to see you having so much fun. I got a kick out of hearing Mike tell the cop story, only we got to hear it right after it happened!

Good luck with those festivals. You guys will be working on multi-million dollar projects before you know it!
Hellfighter
Hey Bar- to put your youtube clip in the main area of your myspace page at its max. youtube sixe, do this;
go to your 'edit profile area'
go to "Movies" section
- type/paste the following and adding / replacing your youtube clip addy as should be obvious-

<object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowScriptAccess="never" allowNetworking="internal" height="350" width="425" data="http://www.youtube.com/v/yourcodehere/">
<param name="allowScriptAccess" value="never" />
<param name="allowNetworking" value="internal" />
<param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/yourcodehere/">
Bargod
Thanks, but the film festival we got accepted in to wants to be the exclusive site for showing the trailer. So, it looks like we'll be taking it down from everywhere.
