Hey MOB clan,

I was just sitting here in my room and decided to stop by to see how the clan is going. It's been a long time since I've seen all guys. Looks like a lots changed member-wise so I say hello to the people who don't know me. After a long stay with the clan years ago playing MOH:AA I decided to hang it up because of a lost interest in pc gaming, an increased focus on school and a crappy internet connection. I'm hoping to dive in pc gaming a little bit more so maybe I'll see you around sometime in the future. Have a great one.

Unfortunately the MOB you knew no longer exist. Most have moved on to something I like to refer to as the Other MOB.
A few of the older members still lurk the forum so I'm sure they'll stop in to say hi.

There are still several people in the new-n-improved ( no-balls) MOB clan, you would know. but like Bar said, you wouldn't recognize the clan.

There are still quite a few that still play. In the 2+ years you've been gone, indeed things have changed. That's what happens over time. One thing that has not changed is that we're still ranked #1. With some old faces you'd recognize (Slim,Shadow, blk96gt) and a few you wouldn't (me, DB, Heated,etc.) we still kicking butt when we can all be there. Pick up a copy of COD4 and COD5 and join us for a few rounds. I think the vent info is still the same. Hit me up on xfire if you need it.

If you can only buy one (either cod4 or cod5) DEFINITELY go with COD4. The far superior game I think.

It's sad, even though i found COD4 to probably be the best finished product released for a while, I just couldn't get into the gameplay.
Want to talk old school, I had a blast playing mohaa for a few hours last weekend.
Sniping on Destroyed Village from the church and the gay sniper spot
Controlling the Z corridor of Algiers.
Hiding behind the couch on Southern France, waiting for people to walk through the door.
Massive spawn raping from the brick path on Remagen.
Sniping from the top hotel room in Crossroads.
Ahhhh the memories.

It was really cool to see some of the old clans still running mohaa servers.

yeah Druid, I definitely know what you mean. I actually play in WB once and a while since my dad is still in the clan so maybe I'll see you on there sometime.

I've def been missing the old days of mohaa. Everytime I play I remember all the fun i had playing with the old clan members, playing in the various matches we had throughout the year.

I actually bought an ipod and had it engraved a couple years ago that said "MOH:AA Forever." It was like my dedication to the game I enjoyed for so long. I have never played a game as much as I have with this one. The multiplayer was fun, the clans were great and the people couldn't be beat.

I considered this the best game I've ever played in my lifetime and I don't expect another one to come along soon.

He's =WB= Agent. He has been really busy lately so I don't think he has been on that much.

Shred, It's not necessarily the maps that I miss, its the feel of the game. Everytime I played it always felt right.

MOHAA, while traffic has cut down is still not completely dead. I have plenty of old games that you can consider dead (eg: Tribes 2). We'll see if I decide to purchase COD4 for the pc. I've already bought 4 and 5 for the 360 so i'm not sure if i can lay down money for the same game.

Dude. I still remember the day I cursed your dad (not knowing it was your dad) for blocking a door on Southern France and getting me killed. You jumped my shit like I had just kicked him in the nuts. It was awesome. I'll never forget that day. I'm glad to have the memory.

It was great, the clan filed a dispute after the match for cheating even though their leader told them to go under the map and cheat because they were losing so bad.

How is autokick gay? It keeps us from having to do anything when some jackass comes in using an auto. It warns them once for using the wrong weapon, then kicks if they use it again.

Lol, I actually remember going through all those screenshots about 6 years ago. That match was probably the most annoying one from what I saw.

I wish I was still playing in those mohaa matches.

This is true.
I say gay, just meaning you have admins that are smart enough to drop the bolts mod on the server and refuse to do so. Our mod only runs bolts. It circumvents noobism.

I got a little chuckle when I read Mike's post about the bolt only server. Bragging about how it was a custom program running on MOB's dedicated box. Implying this is something special ONLY MOB can do because of their dedicated box. I don't know why Mike thought this was something special only clans with a dedicated box could run. Maybe it's because it's a command line script. While it's true rented servers don't have direct access to the command line for security reasons, it only requires a simple request to have the change made on a rented server.
It's entertaining to watch them struggle with these minor technical issues. It's cute an adorable, just like watching a little child trying to complete an adult task.

There were several other clans running the same auto-kick script, I think all but two have moved on to one of the better bolt only mods. I don't know if it's stubbornness or ineptitude that prevents MOB from updating to one of the newer TRUE bolt only mods available.

Don't get me wrong, it's their server, they should run it however they see fit.
It's just surprising is all.

Not to change the subject, but for Stock , Realdeal and whoever else may want another look at some MOHAA nostalgia.

I thought about that site after the post concerning some MOB Regs going to =BoS=, since BoS Alcoholic was the one who anonymously ran the site as Mohha Truth. Although, don't think Alcoholic ever admitted it.
Anyway, just something I got some laughs out of as I browsed through the site today.

Yeah, I just happen to take a look at that the other day. I remember when moh truth became the hit that it did back in the day. It was a nice site to catch up on ladder news and whats going with some of the clans out there. I always wondered who kept the site up!

I've noticed that PC gamers are waaaay better than other console gamers. I'm the best on my frineds list on x box and constantly find myself at the top of leaderboard and doing thinks that seem regular on comp but people accuse me of "cheating" on x box. heh

yeah, i've noticed the same thing. I've been playing a lot of COD4 for the xbox and my stats are pretty good for someone who doesn't play all that often. But no worries, my first love will also be the pc. It's a shame they never came out with a good new modern Medal of Honor because i'd definitely be playing that all the time.
