Well being im starting to read the builders gripe like the GM and Chrysler ,id thought id post this because its the first time Ive seen employees react like this. The market was still tanking down here back in Oct on 2007 so i took a job with Lennar mostly for the salary + great benefits. Within my first two weeks they completely shutdown Broward county and laid off every employee except its sales people ,which got thrown into Miami even though they were our competition and we out sold them every year. in Jan of 08 i was thrown into a community that wasnt built out yet,so what you do is sell them prior and they build phases. by end of may i had 14 sold and was do my %1 1/2 per unit and bonus for 8 of them (half salary for a year on a normal worker). i was laid off 2 weeks later and a clause i did not catch ,did not allow me to collect one commision or bonus. Now their in trouble and i got this email today.all i got to say is Karmas a bitch .
