Hello to all,

This is actually Panzer formerly of MOB, formerly of TLD. I have been reading all the drama and wanted to tell the newest MOB group that split, don't take this shit to serioulsy. I let my ego get in the way and it ruined a good thing we had going. Rather then being mature and doing the adult thing....talking about problems, I bailed with every1 else from TLD. In hindsight, MOB was and looks to still be a classy organization. Although I didn't always see eye to eye with Real & Druid, usually because they had valid points I didn't want to accept. I miss the old times with all the peeps, I still play MOH on the IW or stoner server when time permits, but like every1 else, family duties and work duties limit that. The shit that happened has bugged me for a while now, Real and Druid and the rest of the MOB guys were always cool to me...except Epacy, but he even had his moments, far and few between. Drop the drama other {MOB} cuz in most peoples eyes including mine there is only 1 true {MOB}.

Take care all

Wow
Make that double wow
No. No. Make that Sham-WOW

Of all the people which I would be surprised to see post, you would rank up near the top of the list.
Around two years ago or so, ReadDeal told me about an email he received from you attempting to make amends for some of the stuff that happened after the split. I thought it was a real stand up thing to do since it was already a long dead issue at that point. Even though so much time had passed, the fact you felt so strongly about it you had to say something. I think is a great testament to your character.
Of course I noticed I didn't receive a similar email, J/K

It was sad time for MOB. There was plenty of blame an regret to go around. While everyone else was freaked out over losing so many of the A-team players, I was just sorry to see people leave.
People like....
Nixon who just starting to take on a leadership role in MOB.
Stone & DUECE who kind of took the place of the Father/Son team vacated by FK and ClanKilla
Little Old Man who was surprisingly hip for an old guy.
Benny Hinn who wasn't in the clan but someone I would have loved to see join because he was probably one of the nicest guys I met during my years with MOB.
Plus lots of other people.
Hell I even hated to see Cobra leave because I knew things should an could have been worked out.

LOL I know what you mean about Epacy. Out of the 100 people or so that have been in MOB. He was one of only two people I was happy to see leave. Maybe in some ways he was a decent guy but he was definitely a troubled individual and brought so much turmoil to MOB while he was here.

While some people at the super duper, new and improved MOB whine about me keeping this site up. Post like yours are a prime example of why I do. You never know who going to drop by to say hi an reminisce about the old days.
It's kind of like a high school sports team looking back at their good old glory days, when their whole world revolved around the Friday night game.
This was such a great virtual hangout for so many people for so long. Most of us have families, wives, kids, jobs and all the little daily worries those things include. So it's nice to look back on a period for a while when our big thing was getting together an playing a freaking video game.
Good times....

All the best to you an yours

I just realized my life with MOB pretty much equals my life in Dallas. I'm still friends with a lot of people I met when I first moved here in '95, even though I worked with most of them less than a year. I may not keep in constant contact with them, but when I do run in to them or talk to them it is always kind of, well, special.
Since then I've worked with a lot of people at different places and I am definitely friends with a lot of them, but there is always a special place for those first few people I met here in Dallas.
Same goes for MOB. Despite the fact that I'm closer to people that at one point I would have jumped in an alley, some of the guys that moved on to TLD were the guys that made me love MOB and on the rare occasions I get a message from them, or we chat a bit on xfire, well, those moments are gold to me. It may have been a small fraction of my online gaming life, but it was such an important part that it really means the world to me to talk to some folks.
So, nice to hear from you Panzer. Seeing your post makes me remember the times where we were all on at 2 or 3 am (central time) having fun and giving each other crap while I got DESTROYED by everyone.
Good times... Good times...

Druid thanks for the kind words. I thought I put you on that email I sent to Real, I guess not, it was meant for you as well. Those were probably the funnest times for me when we had a full roster, and Friday was beer night/MOH night. Even the bash nights with Beer & Zillah, man I miss the necks'. The crazy stories people had to tell, knowing someone on a personal level you have never met in real life, this was the place for that. Its like that one hot chick in high school where you say damn, if only I would have.....

Take care Druid

Good to see you Bargod, and thanks for boosting my stats back then wink.gif

Ok, are you guys done blowing each other now? IPB Image

Wow! Panzer........ I am as shocked as Druid. It's nice to hear from you, hope all is well. You still in AZ? How's Cobra?

There's no doubt about it, those were some really great times back then and I think about those days often.

I do disagree somewhat with Druid about Epacy... while Epacy certainly caused his share of turmoil during his time in MOB (some of which involved myself), Epacy is actually a really good guy and definitely misunderstood. The problem was that he would allow only a few to really get to know him. On top of all that, he was an awesome MOHAA player. I still keep in touch with Epacy as well as Big Dick Daddy.

Well, look who all is still kicking...Some good reading in here. laugh.gif
