Thank you for the invite. If I was gaming these days, I'd certainly stick my head in the door. I still have UO loaded on my main box and hope to find the time to fire it up one of these days. I was amused to learn that UO continues to draw players. There was something very unique about that game.

As for this site, only Robert knows how long its heart will keep beating. Nice to see that plenty of folks are still sticking their heads in the door, even though they don't bother to post.

I figure all it will take to reignite this site is another outstanding multiplayer platform... but then again, I may be delusional.

I don't know that I have ever played another game like UO.

A game where a player with limited ability, but tons of heart, could dig in and bring 12 other people a victory.



I mean, you could suck the whole map up. Shooting like crap. But when you are camping the last base and a fuck-ton of people rush in and you school them and save it. I dont know. I've never seen a game like it.



Its a religious experience. It is more like real life.
