EA has decided to create a reboot of the Medal of Honor franchise by making a game based in Afghanistan. Hopefully this game will be better than the other duds EA has put out (Pacific Assault). How awesome would that be if another good game in the franchise came to be and united the Medal of Honor fans again. Very exciting! It's coming out sometime in 2010.

Oh, realdeal, its one of my wishes. I really miss the old days when everyone would go on vent and chat and talk about strategies. I love being part of such an elite crew and having a great reputation to match. I wanted an excuse to bring back the group again....

How nice would it be? Its many many years since I fell out of the picture.. I was like 17 years old then. In a few months I'll be 22. Geesh I can't believe it's been so long since I've played with everyone. I wonder what people are playing these days.

The skill level really isn't that much different now. There's quite a few of those old names still around in varying degrees. You'll find most of us playing cod4 and MW2. Things are sort of slow right now because of the lack of dedicated servers in mw2 and everyone's sort of grown tired of cod4 but if you are looking for a FPS MP game those are the 2 to pick up.

I want the original clan back in action. I don't know what it'll take to at least restart and bring back a couple of the members from long ago and the greatness that was {MOB}. Plus it was nice to dominate all the old timers every day. I wonder what people like anvil, nasty nate and even diesel are doing these days.

Is there any way to contact these people? I mean, if we sent them a PM on the forums here wouldn't they get an e-mail? Or do we just have no guarantee the e-mail they would have now would be tied to this site at all?

This would be the perfect time for MOH to regain market share, the no dedicated server system for MW2 is beyond stupid. MW2 may as well go straight console only.

No matter what game comes out in the future it will never be like MOHAA. That game was the greatest thing that happened to gaming. Took the world by storm and created an online base that will never be matched again imo. People had legit clans and members that new the game unlike any other, they grew relationships with total strangers and it was fun as hell just to play with leet players and bull shit on vent. Competition in MOHAA was unmatched compared to any other game. I do miss those times a lot but nothing in the future will be like it.

Why can't we just fight WWII forever? Why do we have to "modernize" everything.
That said, I'm still waiting for a game to really grab my attention. I'm not buying a new game until I know I'll play it till I"m on the verge of pulling a Stockguy meets Diesel. You know, play just one more round to get your kill to death ratio back up while screaming and smashing things when you die... you know, right?

I agree Mr BG, WW2 is simply the perfect setting for an fps. If only we could get MOHAA with some updated graphics, some new features, and a (functional) anti-cheat program...

Yeah, no kidding. I still dream on the clan starting up again when the new Medal of Honor comes out. Its looking like it going to be a winner from the initial trailers I've seen. I have my fingers crossed!

Pre-Ordering through EA gets you beta access. I dunno if I want to pre-order 4 months in advance but it has been 5 years...

Woohoo! I just checked my e-mail and I got a beta invite.

All I did was sign up for an EA master account and marked MOH as an interest.

I suggest you guys try it instead of having to pre-order. Beats throwing $50-$60 bucks 4 months in advance.

Please let me know what you think of the game. It'd be interesting to see how the gameplay is.
