MOB has been tossing around the idea of having a server that runs Missionary, a CLIENT SIDE anti-cheat.

This would require anyone that wants to play on the server to first download and install Missionary, made by IW and BlackBart.

To me....peace of mind equals a better gameing experiance, what do you think?

You have my vote there Nixon, nothing ruins the game more than a cheat of any kind. This game should be original in all respects. I load only authentic skins for my weapons, no rubbish or highlighted nonsense. And I've always used the original scopes etc... So lets go for it !

I would definetly do it, if it isn't to much trouble or cost to you guys.

F@#$ Cheaters

With the amount of cheaters out there, something has got to be done. We will make this as easy and painless as possible. We will host the program that you need to install on this website so you won't have to go anywhere else to download it.

This is why I only play on the MOB servers... You guys are great for catching potential cheaters, and it's tough to find a non-cheat server, and it took me months to find yours long ago... I know it is tough to keep up with the new cheats that pop up for games. It seems like when a cheater is caught, he's some young kid that has no respect for the game. Why pay 50.00 for a game when all your going to do is search for a better way to cheat. Players like that are a waste of space and serve only to ruin one fine game. Maybe they should all get together and create there own cheat server. They could even make a map out of lego blocks to enhance there type of gameplay.

Would this program be a requirement to play on all MOB servers ?

I have used missionary already, its a great program, only your gonna have to allow my lazer dot, and sniper scopes lol

Just so you know, Missionary can be customized to each server. This would allow additional skins, custom gunsights/scopes etc. Of course, all mods would have to meet approval of the admins...but it's a nice way to allow some of the good mods out there into the game w/o the question of any pk3s being a cheat of some sort.

There a few things I would like to know.Only people with the D/L would get onto the server how much of a impact would this be on new people trying to get on.It seems that they come to are web site only after playing on our servers.This would make it difficult for them to know about what they must have to join in .Starting with one server only for awhile would seem the way to go and on the other server keep telling everyone what they need to play on our anti-cheat server.
Let this be the starting place where players can go to totally relax and enjoy the game the way it was suppose to be enjoyed

I was thinking the same thing LOM....it would have to be on one server only at first, but belive me word will spread quickly. There are alot of players out there that are dieing to play cheat free, and they just need to find their way to us.

I think that we have strong enough support from our regulars to make this thing happen....lets spread the word to the guys we know that dont come to the forums.

Well to start it out we could try like letting everyone in but play for about a week with a message playing every 5 mins or so saying, "This server will be running missionary anti-cheat please download we are going to run it starting when/ever" That way it will give people a week to get in gear and also that week many people will hear about it, and they can get on your servers.

I've been playing on the server well over a year, and those guys don't cheat, they may have some nice equipment and monitors, but I've been shot by them for a lot longer than you, but I never wined about it. Are you sure you are not the baby of the family as your username indicates? Please, no more crying or I'm gonna send you a dress, lipstick and tampon.... Ever think the game's been out about 2 years now, and some of these players have been playing it since it came out you bozo.

Step 1: Druid has been generous enough to make his weapons MOD available to the general public. You can find it in our download section.

Step 2: Do a google search for game servers and find one close to your house. This way you could have a really low ping and show everybody how 3l3t3 you are.

I think it is worth a shot but remember what happened when you tried to put custom maps on your server ? I hate to say it but the average person is to stupid/ignorant ( you can put your own adjective here if you like) to download the software required to play on your server. One of the things that irk me with MOHAA is that auto downloads for custom maps is something that EA or 2015 just removed from the Quake 3 engine. You will end up shutting yourselves off from many of your semi regulars. If it works, I am all for it, but you might end up playing cheat free by yourselves.

I myself am just waiting for Call Of Duty to come out. I think that Infinity Ward (the makers) will support the game far better than EA has for Allied Assault. It is so pityfull that Allied Assault is still in version 1.11. EA's idea of a patch costs $30 dollars US and has the word expansion pack on it. Plus more than half the people making CoD are the same people that made Allied Assault. My point is that with better support, there should be far less cheating and I think when CoD does come out many people will just move on. I hope to see many of you on the other side.

I would have to agree with most of what you said.
The only real hope for MOHAA was if BT was a success.
A quick review of the BT demo showed EA didn't even bother to fix several problems carried over from SH.
The demo for BT was a complete piece of shit when compared to the COD demo.
