I've noticed that when you mob guys are not on the server, cheating goes wild. Its rediculous how many people are using wall hacks. Some guy was actually advertising the web site for the hacks. I have no idea if you guys can do anything about it or if u knew that at all. It just pisses me off when people are cheating.

one thing you can do is to write down his name and let a MOB guy know when he gets there

Kaos was the dude advertising. But as far as cheating. I really have no proof unless u guys are there.

did ht eMSG say I am owning with ........ if it did it is because he is using a neon skin and in the skin file there is a mod that makes it say in the chat window with the players name it says I am owning with(and the name of the skin) we caught this as well on our server

Do you think we could start a post somewhere listing suspecting cheaters? Or would there be way too many?

Post the name and the server they guy was playing on. We check the logs every day and we can get the ip's from there and ban the losers.

Just to clarify...

We will NOT ban somebody based on the testimony of a third party. That said, if somebody is stupid enough to brag about cheating on our servers, post the name and we will cross-reference the name with the IP and the comments in the log.

24fast. There is a very good shareware program called Snagit version 6.3 that allows you to screen capture and view the image.

crafty. Good idea about posting. However, as Cypher said, you can only point out who you think is cheating. MOB will do the booting.


I am not sure I know what all the cheats are? Or what to look for? Skins, wall hacks, aimbots, leanbots, etc...

Is is possible for a player to walk through a wall to come out on the other side of a building and kill you? I think that happen to me several weeks ago.

I think it would be helpful for MOB to post some of the things to watch out for when playing. Just a thoughtful helpful positive comment.

I understand the whole 3rd party thing. Is there a way i can force a screen shot or is that only admin stuff. I dont know too much about server side. Im just trying to get the cheaters out. Sorry if im sounding whiny, it's just that it bothers me. Im just trying to help out.

Crafty, we appreciate your help & all the other regulars that report cheaters, don't let it interfere with your playing enjoyment, remember its still just a game. We have banned hundreds of cheaters & the list gets longer everyday.

Only MOB server admins can force screen shots, just do as Cypher said & provide us the info so that we can search the logs.

24fast. Snagit cannot convert files. Sorry. However, when you do a screen capture you can save it a a gif or jpeg file. This is about 1/10th the size of a TGA or Tiff file. I hope this helps.

PLUS I DONT KNOW WHAT IS OR WHERE YOU HEARD OF A CHEAT WHERE YOU COULD TURN ON AND OFF A CHEATING DEVICE. LIKE AS SOON AS A MOB PLAYER HAS ENTERED THE ROOM? LOL!
SOMETIMES THE PING RATE HAS A MAJOR IMPACT ON YOUR PLAY. FOR INSTANCE SEEING A PLAYER BEFORE YOU DO, PULLING THE TRIGGER, ETC.
BUT GLAD YOU ARE KEEPING YOUR EYES PEELED FOR CHEATERS. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

well bro u can get Photoshop 7 from kazzaa and use that to open the file and then u can go to www.villagephotos.com and upload ur picture there,,its gotta be in .JPG or .GIF format!!! and there are someother proggies that u can download to open the .TIF files....even Windows Paint can open them, all u have to do save 'em as .JPG or .GIF .......i hope this helps, and another thing....... ALL YOU CHEATERS!!!!! yo mama!

i have been playin in the MOB servers a couple times in the past week under the name Bad_Karma.... i wanna know wtf i was doin to make u think i was cheating? and i would love it if you sent me these ss of it..... so i could see if it was me or just someone else w/ same name, i have seen the name on other peps b4....anyways, i can guarantee i dont cheat, and will send nurmorus ss of my play to prove it if u would like some proof, anyways....just was curious, came in here exploring and see i am being accused of cheating and just wanna know what its all about.
