Ok I need some help, bad . After getting Missionary earlier this week and attempting to start it up this morning I have been thwarted time after time in trying to get it to work. There were several problems but I fixed most of them but two still linger and I am having a bitch of a time trying to figure it out with my pea sized brain :

1.) During the "check-ups" the Missionary console conducted when I tried to connect to Goodfellas an error message informed me that I have unauthorized entries in my unamedsoldier.cfg. I tried using Missionary's internal "auto-fix" function that pops up and also fixing it manually myself but neither worked. Finally, to top it off, Missionary would just shut down and dammit I cannot figure it out.

2.) On a few occasions Missionary apparently got through the "check-ups" but then would act really sluggish and then procced to shut down only adding to my bewilderment (monitor shaking, pen throwing, profanity-laced tantrums started at this point).

Maybe I'm just really stupid and haven't done something realy simple I just accidentally skipped over in the provided instructions and trouble-shooting guides. I immunized the directories and the executable in Norton and I have cleaned up my folders that were littered with unused maps and skins. As far as I can tell everything is stock except for my no-cd crack (I'm not using XP but could this be the problem) and I am passing the opengl32.dll and pk3 file checks fine.

May be a dumb suggestion, but I would try and connect to IW's server which is running Missionary, or wait until tomorrow when GoodFella's is running Missionary.
I'm not sure if trying to connect to a server that is not running the program, ie GoodFella's will cause some of the trouble you are experiencing.

Druid....I'm up to date and had no problems connecting.

If you want my very unprofessional oppinion....the simplest thing to do would be to reinstall the game and go from there with Missionary. But like I said....that is just what I would do.

Another thing you might want to try...especially youo Ice Cold, is to run the 'test/diagnose' function in Missionary, see what that comes up with.

I just connected no problem as well. I completly reinstalled just to make it as painless as possible.

Im good as well. For those who are reinstalling make sure not to put gamespy back on your computer that comes on the Mohaa disk. I think that will throw it off a bit to. One thing I have noticed is that Missionary takes alot of RAM or something to run. I get a slight bit of lag when it first starts running. The only thing I can think of is that its verifying my files and when thats done the lag goes away. Glad MOB has made the switch!

loaded missionary today with no probs. now only to get on line when server is full ...hate it when i can't get on LOL ...but thats what happens when you run a great sever .....GOOD JOB M.O.B

One thing I would suggest that has helped some users is to completely uninstall MOHAA and reinstall it and try it again.

Installed Missionary last night with no problems. Make sure when installing to read and follow instructions,(e.g. virus programs). I had a blood MOD(that I miss very much) that the missionary program found and got rid of. When are the MODS coming for Missionary(blood, etc.)Actually, the Missionary client is an awesome program! I like how you can see who's online. Any of you REGS or MOB play Breakthrough or Spearhead? Later.

Real dont worry about it, I've got it working. I reinstalled missionary and changed some other settings in Norton and now it works. The server is full at this moment but it seems to work, thanks anyways.
