ok the clan wants to use missionary, im having trouble starting the install i downloaded the for mac only and put the config file in the main dir. and went to down load the miss. file snd went to instigate the file the only thng that happened was the explorer widow opened and stayed blank. i downloaded it 6 times and have the virex turned off. ps if ya didnt get the hint i am on mac any one who knows anything to do with the mac to get it to work would be great. sorry tech disadvantaged new to the mac. help i dont need to be booted again!!

Missionary is only for the PC. The config file you download need to be place in your mohaa\main directory. As soon as you join the server you need to open the console and type this exec custom.cfg exec custom.cfg
This should allow allow a mac player to stay on our missionary server.

OK DID THE EXEC CUSTOM.CFG THEN IT DID SOMETHING AND LAST LINE SAID SET VALUE <SET> <VALUE> IF ITS NOT IT ITS REAL CLOSE AND STILL NOT REG. IN MY UNNAMED SOLDIER FILE IT LOOKS LIKE THERE IS A BUNCH OF BAN AND KICK COMMANDS AND MY SCREEN NAME IS THERE IS THERE SOMTHING IM MISSING?

It sounds like you typing both lines at the same time.
What you need to do is open the console and type exec custom.cfg be sure to hit enter after each time you type The reply in console should say
excing custom.cfg

ok im ... exec custom.cfg (then i hit return) then it says... execing custom.cfg usage: setu <verable> <value>
is that right? how do you enter it twice with out hittin enter? if thats what you mean. sorry to be such a pain in the ass.

If it's saying usage: setu <verable> <value> It means it's not executing the config file properly. I'm not sure what the problem is, I'll have to ask around and get back with you.

Don't worry about it, these kinds of things happen. It's just hard to try and answer questions about MAC stuff when I know nothing about a mac. Soon as I find something out I'll let you know.
