This is true Wassy. This is another reason I removed these posts our of the MISC/OFF TOPIC forum and created the WAR ON TERROR forum.

I disagree. There are several issues discussed on this forum that have nothing to do with MOHAA or gaming at all. Some of the issues discussed here are work related, sometimes people just need a place to vent about life, sports, current events, etc. So there shouldn't be a problem with a WAR ON TERROR forum. Like you said, people have the choice whether or not they want to view this forum or not.

I don't know if the WARNING does anything to make someone want to watch the video more or not. But this was always a concern of mine since I started posting these videos. There is no way for me currently to block access to children. It might be possible in the next update of the forums and if it is I will look into it. For now though, it will stay the way it is. However, with that said, these videos are widely available on the net and any kid who wants to see them can and will find them. I would rather have them view it here where it is presented with fact and circumstance than where it is presented at another website as a "beheading of the week" video just for for shits and giggles.

Remember, when 9/11 happend and the news media showed footage of some of those people who jumped from the building rather than be burned alive.

I have made my feelings and political views very clear on the war on terror and I will not censor what others may post here. This is not a one sided conversation. I am not on a soap box forcing people to share my thoughts and views. I look forward to and welcome others views as well. I can try and keep things from getting out of control and I have in the past, but I will not delete posts of others who are express there opinions or feelings. They should be heard. Whether they agree with me or not.


And for those ADULTS who refuse to watch the videos, I say, all should watch...and remember. I have obviosly wathced these videos. I didn't want to. I do not get pleasure from these videos, quite the contrary. Yet I force myself to watch because I want to know our enemies. I don't want to understand them; I want to know them, so that I know who they are and what they are. (This view was expressed by a reporter in an article on the internet and I fully agree with him)
I want to know those who will brutally kill us without hesitation or remorse. I want these ugly and horrifying images burned into my memory so that I can be confident and resolute in knowing the magnitude of lethality we must dispense to defeat this enemy and perhaps most importantly, I want to know them and what they do, so that I may righteously condemn and fight if need be those within our country and our government who lend support to them.

Some people have said that they don't need to see this video, or others like it, to know our enemy. But that is not true. Even with our culture of media-exploited violence, it is one thing to imagine these acts, yet it is something entirely different to actually see them. I had pictured in my mind the terrorists removing Nicholas Berg's head with a single swing of a sword. In reality, it was a much more gruesome and brutal event. The terrorists threw Nicholas Berg to the floor, jumped on him and held him down, and then repeatedly hacked at his neck with a large knife, (all this while shouting "God is Great" ) for what seemed to be an eternity until it came off in the terrorist's hands. Nicholas Berg's death was anything but quick or painless.

(This is not directed directly at you Wassy) Open your eyes to what you do not want to see. For what happened to Nicholas Berg and the others will be our future one million times over, unless we fight back with fury and unrestrained vengeance. World War III is upon us and if we are to survive, we must purge the earth of this evil--including those among us who rally for America's defeat.


I have gotten a bit off topic but I hope you can understand my position.

I'm the piper and it's $150 a gig. I'll play whatever you like - marches, jigs, hornpipes, slow airs....it's your dime, after all.

I respect your right to have an opinion on this matter. I can even see a point to what you said in regards to Reals ideals (although I agree with them about 95% of the time). But as far as Barts ideals go, I have to draw the line and back him 10000%. Bart's "ideals", furthermore referred to as "Christian Ideals", teach nothing but the way this world should be. If all people followed Christian ideals, all the time, there would be no video on this site, due to the fact that this atrocity would never have happened. The problem lies in the fact that these vomits of the Middle East, dont come close to following what Bart graces his website visitors with. What Bart posts on his site, should not only stay on his site, but should be spread everywhere else as well. I am the most guilty person of not doing this, so I am not bashing anyone else, just applauding Bart for what he does do.

As far as the videos being on this site. People are rallying around the cry that "Impressionable children will see this...". The average age of an online video game player is 25 years old. Not 12 as most would think.

Secondly, I have a daughter that gets online. She knows that I play this game, but she has never and will never be on a Mohaa website. Why? Because these sites are not suitable for children 90% of the time. I monitor what she sees online and what sites she goes to. I do my best to teach her right from wrong. I sum up what I do as "parenting". Too many adults today dont know how to do this, so they plant their child in front of a TV, computer or game console and let them go. They have no idea what they are doing, seeing, reading or who they are talking too. This is not the childs fault, this is the parents fault. So if children see this video, their parents should be held responsible for it, not Realdeal. Their parents should get their asses kicked, not the owner of this website.

Lastly. I run a website, ours looks alot nicer then this crappy one, but it has much the same content. I would not post the videos on my site, mainly because they disturb me too much. But the people of the world do need to know what is going on in this world. Our media sugar coats everything we hear and we see. They only give us half truths and what serves to expand or enhance their position. The media is ran by liberals and reports liberal views and stories. Reporting stories about beheadings and atrocities to Americans overseas, only strengthens the resolve and helps the current President and his decision to start this war. Instead they focus on the "Iraq Prison Torture Scandal", leaving beheadings of Americans in the headlines for about 15 minutes and then going back to the torture scandal. So I view Reals use of this media to get across the message of what is really going on in the world as nescessary. If you dont want to view it, dont, I know I couldnt. But the truth of what these sick bastards are doing to our countrymen needs to be seen and heard for more then 15 minutes. It needs to be seen or heard every second of everyday you are awake, for they would not hesitate to do it to you, your wife, your mother, your father, your son or your daughter.

I see your point, but i disagree with it. Wanting the best for child is cool, and i 100% respect that, but in the same respect i feel she shouldn't be kept in the dark of whats going on in the world. I feel it would be better for you to sit down with your daugther and discuss it, rather than her see it on a friends tv or pc. For exmp if you tell your daugther not to smoke,"and im sure for good reason" she will just do it behind your back with friends, and now this will start a donomo effect of lies. Its ok to try to be the best father, but its not ok to think you are. She will do what she wants, see's what she wants and live her life the way she sees fits. My point of all of this is that i think you should let your daugther see the videos, and discuss with her why she is so lucky to live in america, and why we are at war.
