Ive been away for a while, and have recently started playing MOH again. I stumbled across the TLD server and saw all the old MOB members out there. What happened? There has to be some kinda story behind this......
No story, just an amicable parting of the ways.

Have you matched against TLD yet? No disrespect to MOB or its members, but a lot of your talent is with TLD now, that just seems....... wrong.

And btw, he did say he was away a long time. He doesn't know the new MOB members, but he will. One of the most obvious things is that Goodfellas is still a rocking server, while unfortunately TLD is not.

No offence taken but be sure to stop by goodfellas and re-think what u said...yes some great players left but great players filled the gap

As much as I've been involved with MOB I have somewhat of a unique perspective seeing as I'm one of the least competitive MOB members.
Yes we lost a lot of talent during the split, a level of talent which took us a year or more to establish. At the time of the split, I highly doubted MOB would fully recover, especially this late in the game. Now here we are only 3 months after the split and quickly nearing the same level prior to the split.
For me I think this is a HUGE accomplishment which I'm very proud of.
I'm proud to be associated with our new members as much as I am with our remaining original members.
In the weeks after the split, several times I questioned not only my decision to stay but weather or not MOB would even survive.
This just goes to show names may change, same as they have several times in the past.
In all of this the one constant is
MOB is still going strong.
Which isn't a reflection of MOB past or present, but simply how fortunate we are that we have so many great people stopping by the server to play.

Anytime you want to find out where the talent is bring it to the Goodfellas...I can surely prove that while they have talent. MOB still has all the skills to make you go damn i need to go play something else.

As you have all guessed, I have been away a long time. I will make my way over to goodfellas soon and hope to see you all there. Oh and BTW, I fealt that "geez, i should go play something else" many times when i was playing on MOB servers, but I just kept coming back! Druid, thanks for laying it out for me. See you on the killing fields...

WTF are you talking about? They lost Panzer.....pussy, Cobra.....pussy whipped pussy, and some other no named pukes.
In return they picked up Diesel, Crafty etc. .
Well, I guess it was a wash. They traded pussies for homos.
