Dogs,

{MOB} #4 is once again available. 64 player limit, very fast net connection, all the stuff like before it went down last August 2003.

The games are faster, slightly different map order, but, once you try it with 40 or 50 people, you'll become addicted!

See you on the field... 209.66.104.59

MOB 4 is based on the West Coast so a lot of us will have tremendous pings to it. There is a 64 player limit on it so shit is wide open. You will see a lot of 120+ scores if he ever changes it to 20 minute battles instead of the 12 is currently is.

Dogs, looking for some action on #4. There have been a few on, but not enough yet to have some big games.

I like the shorter games, but maybe 12 minutes is too short. Maybe 15 minutes? Lemme know what you killas think.

The idea with 12 minute maps is that you could play all 5 regular maps in an hour; so you could feel you got some good playin' time in, but in only an hour. With 20 minute games, it takes 1hr 40 mins to do all the maps.

Well, welcome all, fer sure.

No missionary, we're gonna have to kick and ban cheaters. If it gets real bad we can talk about missionary. But we're definitley running CI ...

See you on!

I've been on there a few times. With the skill level of the players I've seen so far it'd be possible to hit TWO hundred if its a 20 min map lol
Unfortunately I haven't seen more than 10 ppl on yet

Just curious, whats the run speed set at? Sniping is a real bitch when u got those guys zooming all over the map. Makes running and gunning much easier tho cool.gif
General Protection Fault
I had the running at 350, but I put it back to 300. The default is 250. The reason for faster running is to make it a more "exciting" game. Lets people get back into action after being killed.

I increased the time to 15 minutes, which is really a pretty good amount of time per map. Some people prefer some maps, others like other maps, this way the rotation is a little faster.

I guess I need to ask Druid and Real Deal to see if they can auto-forward people from Goodfellas when that is full. Or maybe just a message on the other servers to try our 209.66.104.59

Once we get a critical mass of players, that server should be full all the time.

But yeah, so far, we're no where near the number of ppl that server can handle.

Suggestions on how to get a big army to show up there?

carry on, -GPF

It'll just take some time GPF. Once the old players see that it is back up and still awesome to play on they will be back.

General Protection Fault
Thanks, Cypher, yeah, it'll just a little while to build back up.

Dog is a name for a super-good MOHAA player. Or at least it used to be a year ago.... ;-)

carry on!

well your only talkin to {MOB} i dont think that word is necessary. tongue.gif tongue.gif

My 2 cents are i think more ppl on the east coast play mohaa then the west coast but alot of MOB are located on the west coast so ur pings will be good but no one from the east coast will join a 64 man server when with just 2ppl in it the pings will be at 150+. That could be a possible reason i dont know though.

PLayers, c'mon down and try out MOB #4. It's a fast machine running over a very fast Internet connection, and can support 64 players just fine.

Try it out, and give me suggestions on how to make it better!
