Get speed that you can see by downloading this Firefox patch. I did and can definatly tell the differance. IE got me over 2800 kbps download at Broadbandreports using the Speakeasy server. Immedeatly brought up Firefox with the patch and got 3644. I found it in a thread on corvetteforum.com and everybody doing it is seeing an increase in speed. I found another forum using Google and they are getting the same results.

Now I was told that the speed test using Java on Speakeasy uses its own socket connection and that the test between the two browsers would be invalid. Still doesn't change the fact that it made Firefox faster.

Don't know if it's just my imagination, but it definately seems like pages are loading faster.

Don't know of any real way of testing but my startpage has a timer that tells how long it took to load and Firefox beats IE every time.
