the only means i can enter right now is through the start menu, MOHAA starter.
does it expire and so i cant get in?
was i banned or glitched?

sometyimes, i can go through up until i jump in the game, then it boots me.
other times, i cant even connect because it says server disconnect.

anyone know?

i also have 2 emails into bart that i havnt heard back from, regarding missionary.

could it have somethig to do with the SP2 i downloaded many months ago?

ya i saw yesterday that it was kicking u for banned IP - no idea why.

SP2 shouldn't be an issue - I have it and it goes fine. Possibly your antivirus/firewall blocking it so you can't connect?

right on shifty. i was thinking that this whole time i have been screwed of the missionary/big ping problems is because i cant figure out how to make my firewall and anti virus programs allow the proper missionary programs to pass.

i hadnt known that i even had these programs until real told me i may have it...i think it was installed by the microsoft SP2 update. but i dont know how to make them allow missionary.

i have looked inside the windows firewall and it appears as if the missionary has been checked to allow the program.

i have a e trust EZ antivirus that i dont see anywhere to allow certain programs access. i cant see anywhere to turn off script block...as bart told me to do.

Can you get missionary to run?
If so you probably don't have to worry about script block with your anti-virus.
That seems to be more of a norton issue.

thats just it druid. ever since my big crash of '04, i havnt been able to get missionary to run. i have downloaded a new copy of MOHAA including the patch (which allowed me to enter and play only from the start up menu) and a new copy of missionary. there shouldnt be anything but pure stock on my game. when i click on the missionary icon, the program starts. goes through some processes, then it gets to the part where it says...
pak1....pass
pak2....pass
pak3....pass
pak4....pass
pak5....pass

then it switches pages and goes...
pak6.... (pauses)
then a little screen pops up that says one or more pak files have failed.
then it clears everything and i have to physically shut down the computer and re-boot.

i have run test and sent one to bart but i havnt had a response yet.

also, ever since i wiped the slate clean and reinstalled a lot of programs a couple of months ago, and after the sp2 download which seemed to clear up some virus problems i was having, i rarely am able to get my old 50 ping back. sometimes i shoot into the 200's but mostly i hover in the 90-120's and it causes me serious death problems. i hate that.

the same thing happened to me with the pak6 failing, the first time I ran reverend... to fix it I got one of the regs to send me the pak6 over aim and ever since it has worked perfectly fine for me. if you want i could try to email u my pak6

any body know why my ping is so damned high sometimes and then other times it is around 50? my theory is that when my ping shoots up it has to do with someone on the server attempting to cheat and it F's with my ping....because when certain people leave the site, my ping will go back down.

people like diesel, epacyy, shifty, nate, real, and stock are who my ping shoot up for so i suspect them the most.

check what your net connection is set to in-game - it may have reset to 56k when u reinstalled the game

i tried to DL the pak6.
when i try and enter the missionary program, it claims the new pak6 is not allowed and disconnects.

i have no idea why i cant enter.

there isnt anything on my computer that isnt exactly off of the disc and exactly off of invisiwarr site.

do i need to DL the file and then do something else to it to make it work or to replace the bad one?

help.

is there a test i can run that can tell me...or bart...where the problem lies so that i can fix the problem and move past this issue? i am really getting tired of working on this when there is never ever any progress made.

this is just amazing that no one has problems but i cant make the damn thing work.

Do you have the newest patch? I had that prob with the pak3 file. I downloaded the latest patch file and its worked from then on.

then i tried to enter missionary again...pakfile failed.

i now know for sure that my anti-virus lets all the missionary, missionary.exe, and MOHAA folder by without causing issue so that isnt the problem. i know that my SP2 firewall allows missionary to pass. i know that i have the latest 1.11 patch. i have now erased and re-DL'ed the missionary program so it is brand new.

i click on missionary....pak file failed.

all bart has done is send me his generic email explaining what should be done....the same email everytime, even though i have emailed him 3 times.

should i uninstall my MOHAA? is there a way to get a perfect copy of the MOHAA game?

any suggestions are not only welcome, but explored.

then bart sent me the same email he has already sent me.
