aight for those of u who have seen the movie fight club, did u understand the end? I just watched it and i understood it until the last 5 mins. okay so he shoots himself and gets rid of his imaginary personaly guy, but he lives... HOW THE FUCK DID HE LIVE! and if he lived his imaginary persanality would of lived too would he of? so if u understood how he lived a gunshot to the head please explain to me, cuz its buggin the shit out of me!

I could be wrong but I don't think the gunshot was supposed to be a fatal one.
It was more of psychological way of "killing" his other personality.
GREAT movie.

what kills most people is shock (the body trying to save life and internal organs, anything can bring it on) in a shooting, then blood loss, etc... (think???)

i know but still technicaly(i know its spelled wrong) his imaginary self would still be alive if he wasnt dead wouldnt he?
and yes even though the end is confusing it was a great movie!
I can't exactly remember the ending, but I remember the impression that he just killed off the alter ego through the mental duress involved.
However, like any other movie, READ THE BOOK. I wouldn't say it's better overall, but the ending definately is. I can't believe they didn't use the books ending. I guess they figured the general public would hate it. But I thought it was awesome.
edit- I still try to throw a little Tyler Durden into my life every now and then. Not the crazy shit, and not the pissing into soup, but, every now and then, I think it's healthy to fuck with the establishment.
